    Default shoe tip

i might be the last idiot to realize this, but for those who havent figured out yet...if your new shoes are too tight around your toes, if you take a hair dryer, blow dry the shoes till theyre soft, and then put your feet in them, the shoes will mold to your feet.

Wow I'll be sure to pass that memo around. I've seen so many dancers get so frustrated, that they either throw the shoes out or give it to another dancer who's a sz smaller than they are.

It shrinks the plastic... you heat it up then let it cool off. When your using it to stetch your heating it up then stretching it back out.

A lovely stripper shared this tip with me on my first day after hearing me complain about how much my new shoes sucked. Very grateful!

Has anyone heard of putting your shoes in the dishwasher to clean them? I've never tried it, but have heard it works really well. Any instructions?

I've done that before...it works but they took forever to dry.

^^^^ sounds good! I already knew the blow dryer trick (a wooden hanger really helps too, it actually stretches out the part for your toes)
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

If you don't have a blow dryer handy then steam works just as well (takes longer yet does the same thing) plus make sure you have a thick sock or layers of socks on when you do mould it to your foot so there is a little bit of "wiggle" room as such whilst still being tight.

I've know about this little tid-bit for years.

i think it only works on shoes that are too tight, not too loose. but i could be wrong. doesn't hurt to try.

    Love it!
