I work in a conservative part of the country & noticed men don't expect or like women to cuss. I don't do it at work because it really puts guys off & they want a "silky sweet" image of you.

I think a lot of the customers like us to be "ladylike," so I try not to cuss that much. I always feel a customer out first and see how they talk to me. I've met some guys who like the crude dancer and some who do not.
I agree with all the above. Cut it out.
Also, it will be hard to 'only' not curse in the club. Better to do your best to cut it out as much as possible. As your coworkers have said- you don't even realize it. So better to just cut it out from everywhere, than to 'try' to focus on cutting it out only in the club. You never know when you'll 'forget' to think about it. Just make it habit.

I make an effort at all times to watch my language, especially around older guys. Cussing can ruin their fantasy, which makes you lose money. Just make a genuine effort to cut it out of your vocabulary.
I agree with everything above....cussing just isn't pretty, and we're supposed to f*cking gorgeous!
I never know what kind of man I'm approaching, so until I have had enough conversaition to know whether or not he swears like a drunken sailor too, I keep my cussin' to myself. That way I'm not hurting any business before I know what kind of man he is....

I don't swear no matter who it's with, that's just me. I reserve it for times when I need to vent out my frustrations or when I'm catching up with the girls.

I agree. Talkin like a sailer doesn't = sexy.

I agree, I don't think it's sexy & ladylike. Do any of you watch "The Girls next door"? The Hugh Hefner show with his girlfriends, he has 3; Holly, Bridgette and Kendra. Let me tell you every other word out of Kendra's mouth is F$ck this and F$ck that and it's constantly on TV "bleep, bleep, bleep...." It makes her so trashy. What surprises me is a man that's famous like that would be ok with his girlfriend swearing all the time on that show about their life.
I used to cuss a lot, I used to think that it made me cool but after I started watching that show, I saw it from the outside and I thought to myself, "Gosh, I really don't want to sound like that, that sounds horrible!!!" So, I've really focused on not swearing around people, I save it when I'm having "road rage" haha! That's really the only time I cuss now. Once you get in the habit of not doing it, it'll stop, just really focus on it and before you know it, you'll stop cussing like you do.
I love Kendra she's the best looking and the most fun. Yeah cussing it's not worth sounding like a dumb a#$!. Try to look forward to building a better vocabulary.
I totally disagree^^^^ about the Kendra being the best looking! I think she's the worst looking! And lol, she'd sound like a dumb ass regardless of her cursing. I would agree that she's the most entertaining because of the dumb ass things she says though!
