Default cell phone breaking face out

Does anyone have problems with zits on the side of your face you hold your cell phone up to? I don't talk on it as much as I use to but I have a couple of pimples just on that side of my face around my chin and temple. I had a bunch there a few weeks ago. I try to use alcohol wipes now and keep the phone clean.

Lol, I am not good at text messaging. It takes me forever to type one and it's hard especially when I am working and trying to walk through the airport. It literally takes me like 10 minutes to type two sentences.

if you had a phone with a QWERTY keypad, you'd be much happier.

I was going to say keep your phone cleaner BUT then I read your post and you are already doing that . Also don't put your phone to your skin , hold it away from your cheek while its on your ear .....or you could get an ear piece ??
Don't you just love me ?!?

QWERTY is one button for each letter, like a regular keyboard....like a treo or a sidekick

and yeah, a hands free thing too

Do you sleep on the same side that you use your phone on?

Wipe your phone often (the average phone mouthpiece is dirtier than a toilet...) with alcohol wipes, use headpiece. sirona has a good point, though. If you sleep on your side, replace your pillowcases often.

I honestly don't think you have to replace them, just keep 'em clean. In reality though i'd assume just the usual sweating/drooling one does in thier sleep is enough to trigger a breakout on whatever side they tend to sleep on. *shrug*
    Just a theory!

thanks for reminding me about wiping a phone down. I used to do that once a night with high alcohol toner, but have been not doing that lately --runs to get phone and toner--
no wonder my skin in that area is shit. Bleargh!!!

Yes, but with the home cordless phone not my mobile - it used to make me break out in ecezema. It took me months / over a year to work out what the ecezema was from. Thankfully one day I had just put some cream on it when the phone rang and as I was talking trying not to get the cream on the phone it sort of clicked.
I found out recently its not an uncommon thing to happen - nothing to do with cleanliness btw. I now only use a hands free speaker cordless for home. I pretty much only use sms on my mobile too.

If you can afford it get a Bluetooth headset. I just got one as an early Christmas present. Now not only do I not have to worry about wiping my phone off but it's going to be so much easier to have phone sex.

I haven't heard about that... but ear phones do mess up the cochella (sp) hairs in your ears.

I'm not a phone person so I don't have this problem... But I'm for the holding the phone away from your face when you're on it idear.

I just wrote an essay on the inner ear this morning for one of my finals, don't get me started *ugh*

QWERTY is the bomb. GIDL, if you have a newer phone it is surely an option for you. Check it out, it makes texting fun.
