Default What to do for a date?

Is it just me or does anyone else have this problem? On my days off I am trying to come up with things for me and my so to do. Everything closes early. I get up around 2 or 3 and by the time we get together there is nothing to do. Help. The diner, 24 hr starbucks, one rinky dink coffee shop and late movies are all we have. Oh and bowling. We did just recently go to a hotel w/ a pool and swim. Fun but expensive. Bored.Bored. Bored. getting up earlier is not an option. We both work the late nights.

Can't you get together by 5-8, see a movie, go to dinner? What takes you so long before the date? If you get up at 2, you should both have more then ample time if you meet at 4....

    I don't really understand...

Dressing up and going to bars and parties is always fun.
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.

Pack a picnic and go star gazing.

Get very dressed up, go to a little bar thats open all night, and pretend your having dinner at a gourmet restraunt.

You have any drive in movies theatre's?

Get in the car and drive. Go discover new places you didnt know about before. Find a new bar. a new coffee shop, a new small dive restraunt you didnt know whas there before.

Go rollerskating. If you cant find a rink, then go buy some skates, and find an empty parking lot in the middle of the night.

Its winter now. Go sledriding. Make snow angels, and build snowmen, then have hot chocolate.
Drive around and look a tthe christmas lights.

In pittsburgh, when I was younger, we alwyas went into the city and walked around looking at the christmas displays in the windows.

Not only good late night ideas, but cheap date ideas as well!

He lives an hour away and doesn't get up until 4.
We are bothin our early 30's and the bar scene isn't us. We don't drink and drunk 20 somethings aren't our idea of fun.
Keep the ideas coming. Staying home and having sex isn't an option as we are just dating at this point. Plus after awhile of that you need stuff to do!!!

Hiking has always been a fave of mine. And, when you do get to "that point," you'll know all the places to have dirty outdoor sex.

Fun stuff outdoors is always a fave of mine. What about trying a new sport for a day? Seeing some local bands is something new Ive picked up as well.
    Night in picnics too.

My SO and I have opposite schedules, too. The good news is we're both homebodies and can find stuff that don't require us to leave the house. I'll make him dinner, "supervise" home improvement projects, we'll hot tub, play Scrabble, pretty much do boring, retired couple stuff. But hell, we like it and the important thing is we get to spend time together. Sometimes just watching our dogs be retarded is enough to keep us entertained. What can I say? We're easily amused.

This is going to sound corny, but maybe play board games, cards or video games? Bake/cook something together? Do you have any late night bowling around you? There's a 24 hour place over here and it's actually kind of fun. You could go play pool. Or you could try to find a Latin dance club where they teach those dances if you don't already know them. I know a club near here has free salsa lessons one day of the week.
