I've been at the same club for two years and lately it has been impossible to make money. Nearly everyone makes on average $100 a night with $300 being a good night, although a good number of dancers can't make house regularly. It wasn't always like this, but now there are too many dancers and too few customers.
I'm planning on leaving the area in June when I am done with school but until then, I have to stay in the area. There are a few other clubs around but they aren't doing any better from what I hear. I tried one for a few weeks that is about a half hour away, but it was the same story so I went back.
Last night was truly horrible. The club was empty except for tip row, which was filled with people who wouldn't tip regardless of how they were approached. All the dancers lined the back of the club like refugees seeking shelter. Awful. As soon as a new customer approaches, we circle as vultures out of neccesity. It has become such a high hustle environment to just get one dance.
It's been getting worse and worse and I don't know if I can even make it until June. I mostly just wanted to whine, so thanks for reading.
