    Default Tip Out Time Change

    So....

At my club I work 4pm to 10pm. During my shift, I see two DJ's--The first dj leaves at 8 o'clock and before leaving, calls the girls up to collect tipout, if any. The second DJ then comes on shift and I work with her for the next two hours until I leave.

Now, I know to tip the first DJ, since I work most of my shift with him and he calls us up... Do I tip the second? And if so, since I've only worked two hours with her, do I still tip her ten percent..? Or...?

if you're supossed to tip the DJ 10%, then it should be 10% of whatever you made during your shift with that DJ.

So an 8 hr shift I work with DJ A for 5 hours of that shift I give DJ A 10% of whatever I made when with with him. The rest of the 3 hours I give DJ B 10% of whatever I made when working with him. Plus, other tips outs to house and bouncers etc.

So if I only do a low 8 dances plus stage tips then for the remaining 3 hours I then give DJ B his 10% of that money. Hope that makes sense.

I work a 5 hour shift from 6-11 pm on most weeknights. One DJ is there until 8, the other is there for the rest of my shift. I tip out the first DJ what I made until 8, then put my money away so it doesn't get mixed in with the rest of my money. So I tip the other DJ 10% of what I made from 8-11.
So yeah, you prob should tip them both out
With all the stupid things guys will say, stay cool.

"Her apartment is littered with soggy G-strings and cheap 8-inch heeled shoes, along with empty tubes of body glitter, mascara, prescription drugs, zit cream, Aqua Net and Polaroid pictures of her and her "friends" engaged in some drinking and dancing on St. Patrick's Day last year. " My God....

I deal with this too..you really have to talk to a manager and ask what the club requires, then go from there.
I work with DJ A from 4-8. I like him, he does a good job and we get along well....he gets 10%...always
I work with DJ B from 8-10...I cant stand him..he plays crap techno no matter what the girls want to hear and talks CONSTANTLY over the mike so you end up just trying to dance to his voice. Even the manager has told him to shut the fuck up. We are only required to tip him out if we work past 10pm. To be nice...If I leave at 10 I give him $5 (even though I dont have to give him anything)..If I stay one minute past 10..I give him $10. He will NEVER get more since 1)I'm not required to give him more and 2) he doesnt do anything to earn it..in fact he screws up my money by screwing up my stage sets.
People always ask me, did I ever learn anything when I was a stripper? Yeah, I did. One man plus two beers equals 20 dollars.
