Default What kind of customer do you prefer?

I saw a thread that was closed, but got me to wondering. Actually, it was Bridgette's last post that made me think of this question. She said her kat would get all tingly, tingly she said, after she took a poor sap for his money, took him to the atm. (I didn't even know they had atm's at the strip club. lol. Learn something knew everyday.) Then proceeded to take all that money. Anyway's here's the question. Do you prefer the customer who get's all infatuated with you and spends all his money on you, I guess it would be on a regular basis if he's truly infatuated? Or do you prefer the customer that recognizes it's a job and spend's a good time with you getting a few dance's and chilling? Also on a regular basis, cuz let's face it, having a good time never get's old.

Funny comment's and stories are welcome. I like to laugh so let it all hang out. If you got a customer type that doesn't fall in these categories feel free to describe them.

I like the ones who come in from out of town or very infrequently, get infatuated for one night and spend all their money on me that night. And then I don't have to see them again. Because if/when they become regulars, they spend less / expect more for same money. So I don't like regulars in general. Law of diminishing returns.

Ditto what B said. And how do you live in Houston and not see the big ATM sign hanging at each and every club?

Perhaps he thinks that's the Ass-to-Mouth section of the club?

Umm, no. I know where that atm's at. J/K. Never needed extra cash so I never gave it a thought. Maybe I did walk by the sign's, but out of mind out of sight.

Hmm, never thought about diminishing returns, but you got a good point. By the way I am in Houston, we don't have to hound for what's already being foisted on us.

I'm not saying it's not easy to find. I know it is. But it wouldn't be that way if the customers hadn't demanded it first....

I'm a partner dancer and I used to teach. I once did choreography for a semi nude cabaret but I know fairly well just a couple of strippers in real life.

But it seems a lot of posters here are very cynical about the whole industry. To me, it seems dancers just want to get the most money as quickly as possible out of the customer for the least amount of effort. Any effort put in is a self-serving attempt to realize some kind of financial reward down the track. I know, dancers have to eat too. But in my teacher life, I love to see my students do well and I'm always thinking "how can I make my lessons better and give them more in their hour?" Of course I expect to be paid, and promptly. But when I'm paid, I don't think to myself - "HAHA, there's another sucker! Glad I relieved him/her of $50"

I don't know, maybe us guys are just suckers for wanted to spend money to pay beautiful women to take off their clothes and dance for us.

I don't actually have an argument or an agenda. Sadly, I would never make it as a stripper so I can only go by what others say. At least you're all honest about it. If it's really the way most strippers think and operate, fine I just have to deal with that.

There's a reason some people teach, and some people strip.

We can't do this job for as long as you can teach, so we have to do something to ensure our well-being later on. We don't get 401Ks or even workers comp. It's all on us. So it's in our best interest to make as much as we possibly can, for the time that we can. How many times do we have to say this to you numbskulls??? Maybe a post with all this repeitive info should just be made a sticky here in custy convo.

I never said we see the guys as suckers. I am sure some girls do. But generally, most of us simply see them as buyers who choose to spend their money on us. Yeah, I damn well enjoy getting a guy to spend it all on me. Hence the "pussy lips tingle" comment on the other thread. But I know that, above all else, the guy who gave me all his money CHOSE to do it because he was enjoying something I was giving him. I don't see him as a sucker.

I used to teach salsa and performed as well. The only thing stripping and salsa have in common is that dancing is involved. And in the stripping world, what some of the girl's exhibition of involuntary muscular contractions doesn't always even count as dancing.

Sorry salsa, its just not apples to apples comparison.

i prefer customers who recognise that it's just a job and pay me and then let me go and continue to work. i don't like to chill with customers that's a waste of my time. i want to make as much money as a possibly can when im at work so it's not in my interests to hang out with customers.

as for the dancing question - i take pride in my stage shows and pole dancing but i don't think u understand the whole lap dance or as it is in my club air dance experience. of course i want to do a good job of it so that they buy more dances and recommend me to their friends for a dance but the amount of drunk wankers that come in don't give a shit or appreciate good dancing they just want to see pussy and get as much for they can for their dollar. there is not much to take pride in in this situation.

...Not buying it. The customer is under the influence created by the entertainer. "Suckered" by the influence of the entertainer. I bet if he could start over the night-he wouldn't have spent all his money.

Yeah sure asshole. That's why they always THANK ME as they're handing over the money. Most of them even go so far as to EMPHASIZE thanking ME, after I've thanked them for the money. But you just go ahead and keep on with your stoopid little "strippers are greedy bitches" tirade. WTFever dude.

mascott if this is how you feel and it clearly is as it's the dominant theme that keeps appearing in your posts why don't u stay out of SC's and out of SW? You are obviously just a hater anyway.
Stay away from us if you think we are such evil money suckers.

I bet you're also the type of guy who thinks that a woman who got raped deserved it coz men can't help themselves and she was asking for it.

I've thought a little bit about it. It's not really the dancer's fault, it's supply and demand. If customers demand pussy and they don't demand good energetic, skilful, refined dancing, then that's what the dancers have to supply. It's not rational to do otherwise

That said, when I see a difficult pole trick pulled off or someone who has actually choreographed their routine... maybe a bit of dancing to the lyrics, I am extremely impressed and will part with my money quickly.

I'd say I know more about stripping and strippers than 95%, but obviously it's nothing compared to the people who actually do it. And I guess it reflects society and supply and demand.

I mean, I wouldn't expect a prostitute to "take pride" in their "profession". It seems strip dancing is closer to prostitution than dancing, then. And the strippers mostly go with that sentiment. Which is a real shame, as somebody who has respect for exotic dancing and exotic dancers as a whole (I know there are some nutcases)

First of all-that last comment was completely uncalled for and ridiculous.

Second-this is a difference of an opinion-period. You guys are taking it to a whole other level. I wrote it before-I have deep respects for SC's and the people that work in them.

I never mentioned anything about money-sucking or the entertainers ability to earn the money they worked for in a negative manner. You just ASSUME that I am creating a trap or "forcing" comments. All I am curious about is the other side of the story. That's all. I never made a personal attack or insult the profession. Not once.

The customer is influenced by what he sees and empties his pocket in result off. I am simply disagreeing with you that MOST customers do not empty pockets just because they like what is being done to them. It goes deeper. Sincerely-I am simply disagreeing as a long-time customer.

If you can't handle that. Sorry....

i withdraw the comment i agree it was uncalled for, i apologise, i took it too far.

i just don't agree that customers are not responsible for the money that they spend.

customers try to get anything and everything that they can get for their money.
a lot of them have the opinion that they should be able to get all this for $20 or $50 and it's insulting and disrespectful.

when i go out and buy an $800 pair of shoes i do so because i love the shoes, im probably being sucked in by advertising and branding and when i go home afterwards i am often full of regret that i spend so much hard earned money on one pair of shoes. but in the end i chose to spend that money.

I disagree on that one Salsa. True, some areas or clubs go that route. Its easy money. But there are a good many with solid and talented dancers that strictly entertain on stage. The people in these places are classy and know how to entertain. Those are the places you want to go to have a good time.
