Has anyone else read the article in Glamour magazine? (one w/christina aguilera on the cover) its this woman who used to be a stripper and now shes on a mission to save all strippers because "inside every stripper there is a normal woman who just wants a chance at a normal life" i cant even read this article all the way through because i find it offensive. i mean i dont dance anymore but it wasnt because i "escaped" the horrible world of exotic dancing, i dont get how a magazine like glamour can support this kind of article. instances like this just fuels the myth and stereotype that all strippers are whores/drug addicts who just wants someone to save them. it just sets women back to like the 1950s. last time i checked, we were all living well-adjusted, normal lives and didnt need any saving from some self-righteous former stripper. wtf!
*like i said i didnt read the whole article becuase i was angry. maybe im just jumping to conclusions about this woman and this article but the title "no one should have to be a stripper" pissed me off too much.

Let's ALL write Glamour. That'd be fun.
