    Default Food storage questions

Not sure if this goes in here or body business, but the lounge says whatever.
Over the summer it got up to 95 degrees in my kitchen. I only had the living room ac'd. DoI keep the canned stuff or throw it out.( shoulda asked this awhile ago)
Also I went to the store today and left some stuff in the car. Peanut butter, canned asparaghus, and peas. I just came home and put it in the fridge. What do I do with it. General consensus?

Well, since it's all canned, PB unopened ina jar, it should be ok. It's meats, dairy, fresh fruits & veggies you should be careful of.

Canned food should be fine. Theoretically it can get hot enough for the cans to rupture, but if that hasn't happened, then the contents ought to be okay.

As long as the can isnt expanded(when really heated the food MAY rot and the fumes will cause the can to expand so the top and bottom are rounded instead of flat)...you should be fine

Unless fresh, canned goods have a great shelf life regardless how warm it gets. If the seal is broken (pops on the top, or you can push it in and it "pops") then throw it out. Stuff in your car overnight like Peanutbutter and again, canned goods are fine...
