I saw them at Costco and I came so close to buying one. I wanted to do some research first. They seem to like it on amazon.com and MUA

I remember someone made a post(forgot who) about it, and said it was no good. I don't know, I guess it would depend on your acne?
from what I read, it's not good on those hard-to-pop deep, painful monsters unless you do several "cycles"...so maybe that was the problem?

Thanks for the feedback guys....yeah i read the amazon reviews....they do seem to like the unit. Maybe ill give it a try![]()

I edited my post
anyway, read the revies. It sounds decent.

I don't understand why the zeno utilizes technology which requires you to buy replacement tip. The zit zapping is done by heating the bacteria to a temperature until it dies. If a curling iron can stay at a constant temp for a certain amt of time, why not this? bTW, i tried heating the curling iron until it was warm enough and placed it on my zit. Not sure if its because of it, but the zit went away quicker.

No, not ouch really- I just keep it there before it turns into the ouch stage. I think the zeno's temp gets pretty high so the curling iron was inconvenient but not that bad. I was desperate.
someone suggested using a 40 or 60 watt lightbulb in one of the reviews....
Croc. I bought one. The replacement tips (which you will need to replace every 2 months if you get a lot of zits) add to the cost considerably.
A hot compress works just as well.

Haha, I thought this was about Jay Zeno...sorry!
Might makeupalley.com have a review? Would this work on cold sores, I wonder?

I'd say a better investment is a good facial steamer (as long as you don't have rosacea/broken capillary issues).
The replacement tip is f**king bullshit. It makes the equipment not worth the ongoing cost. I would think investing in something like tarzorac, retin-a, differin, etc would be a better choice as they can also improve skin texture along with reducing acne for many people.
K, my mom who works in skin care gave me one of these things....I tried it, and what is found is this; it works great when you want a pimple to go away by the weekend or before a photo shoot. But to actually control skin conditions it's way spendy and silly.
I wound up giving mine away since I hardly ever used it, and I for sure wasn't going to go buy replacement heads for the darn thing so I could use it all the time.
