Default Two questions to you American strippers.

For one, what are your hours? When do you start working and what is the latest you work?

Secondly, what do you make a month? I dont need hard figures, just estimate....ly..

Im really interested in how this works over there since I'd like to continue working as a stripper when I move there.

^lol, k, that was funny..... But I will try and answer this one for myself....but keep in mind, EVERY club is different.

In Az (arizona), most every club I have been at asks you to put five hours in at least, some are more flexible than others. Topless clubs here close @ 2am....

Monthly I pull anywhere from 4 to 5 grand. But again, every girl is different in their hustle and work hours, etc.

I understand that these things are ofcourse different, but Im asking from various girls. I'm sorry I didnt specify it

On weekends I'm returning home aroun 10 am when I get to the club around 10 pm. Stripping here is all about hustle and nothing about dancing. All strip clubs are also champagne clubs so most of what you are doing is playing mind games and getting drunk and it really wears me down. I dont know how it is in the States, but it has been -sounding- better from the posts Ive been reading.

I just need some first hand experiences so my head doesn't make up some sort of a dream job in my head.

well, if you want to know if the US is a good place to work, I would say overall yes. Just certain areas/cities are a little easier than others.

Um, I work... around 1pm to 7pm, or 10am to 6pm, or 6pm-10pm. As for what I make a month, it can vary between 3-6k... depending on how often I work and the time of year, and luck, etc.

Stripping is about the hustle instead of the dancing here, too. It's impossible to define "stripping in America" very easily... It's different everywhere you go. You might want to narrow it down... alot.

I've worked in quite a few places. I would personally recommend Big Louies Too in St. Robert MO, but the management was awful last time I went.
Anyways, alot of clubs have day and night shift. Day starts anywhere from 11am to 3pm. Night starts anywhere from 5pm to 11pm.
Some clubs want at least 5 hours or some want you to stay the whole shift...6 or more hours depending. Most clubs close between 2am and 6am.
Day shift normally charges a lower house fee. These can range from $0 to anything over $100? Some ask for a percentage to the club, say 10%.
Alot of clubs charge $5 or more per lap dance you sell, and a cut to the DJ.
I made between $300 and $1500 at Big Louies, but in NW FL I average between $75 and $350.

Ms Angela, if you are an Icelandic citizen, there will be a big difference between 'visiting' the USA, and becoming a permanent legal resident with a 'green card'. After the 9/11 terrorist attacks, America passed a new law called the Patriot Act which requires that all US employers only hire US citizens, US gov't approved non-citizens but legal permanent residents (i.e. the infamous 'green card'), or foreign nationals who have been issued s 'work visa' specific to their line of work. Without being a US citizen, without going through the US Immigration Dep't admissions process to become a legal immigrant, and without a 'work visa' issued by the US State Dep't, no major 'corporate' club is going to allow you to work no matter how 'hot' you are.

There are a lot of older threads which discuss this subject in detail. Try using the 'search' function (link is on the dark pink bar below the thread title) with keywords like green card , work visa etc.
