    Thumbs down Covering scars

I started stripping this week. I like skateboarding, which means I have some scars on my legs, side and arms. Nothing too noticable, but they can be seen in the right light.
Some people seem to like them, for some reason, but others have apparantly been asking if I'm a cutter (which I'm not) and it seems to scare them off.
I've never been a real girly girl, so I've never used any makeup, so I'm wondering if I should try to cover them up with something, and what I should use?
Anyone have similar problems with scars?

how about gloves (or arm warmers) and thigh highs?

the dark light hides a lot though....

I worked with a girl that rode BMX, she was constantly coming into work with scars and bruises. She was definately the tomb boy type, looked kinda goth, maybe more "Hot Topic" She did exactly as Emily suggested, arm warmers. Worked for her.

I'm a bit of a tom boy, I suppose, but I'm not gothy. Not sure if those kinda things would look very good on me, plus they wouldn't cover the scars on my ribs.

I use Coverblend to cover my tummy tuck scar. It works really well. I also us a belly chain. No one has ever noticed, not even the other girls unless they see me putting it on.

Coverblend, Colorstay, Spray on legs by Sally Hansen, those all work fairly well.

    wear a corset?

seriously, the light hides a lot. You could always tan (or self-tan).

And it's not gothy at all. Lots of girls do the arm warmers or gloves.

i have lots of scars too. one of which is a big huge scar on my leg from a nasty fall. the others are mostly from just being a tom boy or being an angsty teen. the best thing to do is to cut people off when you START to notice that they're looking at them. make light of it and don't over explain it. if there's a way you can make it sound sexy, do that. i usually just say "i'm really adventurous" with a sexy look and follow it up by "...in many ways" or i say something about living life and having fun, make it as positive as possible. so if you can't cover it up tactfully, just be casual and fun about it and they will likely mimic the same response. if you pay too much attention to it, so will the customers.
