Well, it sounds like breast implants would probably be the 'easiest' surgery, at least IMO. Otherwise sounds like you'll need a reduction on one side, as well as a lift, which will probably leave you with more prominant scars than a BA. However, you may also need a lift on the one side if you get implants as well. Good luck.

    ^^^yeah, what she said...

but if it makes you feel any better, no woman has perfectly symmetrical breasts.

And the ban has been lifted on gels, so you can get them easily.

Going by your description, and assuming that you'd like to be a post-operative C-cup, I think that a plastic surgeon would recommend a breast lift/mastopexy and moderate augmentation to one or both of your breasts. There are various techniques for surgeries and different surgeons have their individual preferences. To understand the surgies, start here:

It's very important to do your homework and make sure that your doctor is properly qualifed to perform plastic surgery. This is a great site to start with:

    Read very carefully.

Breast asymmetry is actually pretty common. This is a gallery of pre and post operative photos of women who have had surgery for breast asymmetry. The photos will not tell you what your end result will look like, but they will give you more of an idea of what to expect:

This is a start, and there's more I would like to talk about later when I have more time: (1) paying for the surgery and even more importantly (2) the psychological aspect.

lift scars are ugly, but they fade into the nipple. You will barely notice them in a year. And you might not need a lift if you get implants in both breasts. The reason a lift is done on one is because you don't want one boob looking "real" and the other looking "fake". They try to get them as close as possible in shape, not just volume.

If you are worried about silicone, you can still get saline.

You can put up pictures but do remember that none of us are accredited plastic surgeons. Have you looked at the links I gave you?

As for scarring, I've seen barely visible scars, regular scars, and awful scars from mastopexies. What you end up with depends on:

    (1) your surgeon's skill
    (2) your genetics - people of African and Hispanic decent are prone to keloid scars
    (3) your general health - if you smoke or pratice poor nutrition you will not heal very well
    (4) how well you follow post-operative care instructions - for example, if you start doing cartwheels a week after surgery even though your doctor told you no exercise for a month then your breasts will in all likelihood be fucked up.

I know this is really bothering you but I hope you know that your worth as a human being isn't just about what your tits look like. Part of being happy with plastic surgery is having realistic expectations of the outcome.

If you dont want implants dont get them.
You can probably just get a slight reduction on one side which may be better for you in the long run.
Also dont go without having fun - just pad up your bras a bit on one side. Alot of women have this problem and do the same, no-one will notice. You can buy pads cheaply at most sewing stores and tack them into your bras and bikini tops if your scared of them falling out (-: The only thing is with bikini tops that if they get wet depending on the style the pads may show, so do a bit of trial and error at home.

this is an easy fix with the doctor using two different sized implants to 'equal' out the different amount of natural breast tissue you have. Also, odds are that if you're willing to go with a 'decent sized' implant (like 500cc ballpark or so) you can probably avoid the issue of a lift and the associated scarring - but you'll probably wind up as a large D or DD in the process (which IMHO is better than dealing with the lift scars).

smartcookie I did look at the link that you gave me.It was very helpful and also made me feel better because i saw people with worse problems than mines.Thanks.
I know that breast aren't everything but my breast make me feel less feminine and really insecure.I just dont want to go my whole life hiding behind padded bras you know.my mom is totally against me doing anything to my breast, but I tell her that she just doesnt understand and that Im doing this for me so that I could feel better about myself.I understand that surgery wont make me perfect.
so i narrowed down my options to getting a lift on the bigger side to match the smaller one, or getting different size implants on each side with a lift if I really need it on the left.right now im starting to reconsider the implants because it does sound like the best idea.what kind of implants do you guys think are better as far as safety and natural feel.oh and how much do you think the surgery will cost?I have to pay this myself because my parents dont want to help.

What do you want though? Two much bigger boobs or two C cup boobs the same size? You never reall answered this. are you sure that you looked at the links that smartcookie listed? Like really READ them? Your questions seem like you did no research at all.

which is safer? saline. Which feels better? Silicone? Can you get still a nice look and feel with saline? YES! Silicone has come a long way and it's considered safe by the FDA now.

Your are looking at about $4000-6000 for the implants. Add $2000 for a lift. Add another $2000 for silicone.

There is also another silicone option that is available...its called cohesive gel. This is what I am getting. The new silicone implant is comparable to that of a gummie bear...when cut or torn, it does not leak. The liklihood of tearing is very slim. So no worries about leakage. If a saline inplant ruptures, then the salt water is absorbed by your body, no harm there, but you would need to replace the implant because you would be lopsided.

Im sorry for not being specific about what I want. The truth is that im really confused about what i want. I dont care much about the size of my boobs.I dont mind if they're bigger or if i go with the smaller sized boob.I just want them to be even.I just wanted you guys to let me know what procedure based upon the pics that i posted u think would work out the best.I also asked about the implants because i figured u guys have more experience being around people who have had their breast done.I dont know anyone who i can asked about how they feel or anything like that.I do appreciate everyone tryin to help me.

that's the thing...the procedure that will work best depends on how big you want to go.

Also "best" is relative and depends on how high or low your expectations are. Do you want them jsut to be the same volume, or do you want them to look exactly alike? Is the money spent on a breast lift too much for you?

As a dancer, I want my breasts and nipples to be as similar as possible and price is no object. But if you're not dancing (sounds like you're not) then maybe just filling a tank top evenly is enough.

I looked over everything that everyone posted again and the links and i tried to make my mind up.i think im going with the implants. What i really care about is having breast that look the same in shape with nipples that line up evenly.i dont care much about the size of breast because i think all sizes are beautiful even really small ones.I do know i dont want anything bigger than a D because im only 5'2' and have a really narrow body and almost no hips.i do have belly fat but im working out so that will be gone soon.If i get the implants I do want them on both sides so that my breast will feel the same.Based on the links that i read I would get silicone, because im scared of anything leaking inside of me lol, round and smooth.now about the lift im confused.do u guys think i need one on both breast with implants or just the left side.since im not going any bigger than a D do you think i can get the implants without the lift.I also read about the different kinds of incisions for the lift.Do you think the incsion around the nipple is enough if i get the lift with implants or are my breast so saggy that i need the lollipop incision?oh and price doesnt matter.ill save up all i have to for this.

With the links that smartcookie posted you could find a doctor who does free consultations and ask them. Were just strippers; not doctors.

But from my pov looking at your pics a lift, nipple reconstruction (to make the nipples match the new breast size) and some implants would change your situation alot. Then again I will say Im no doctor.

Even if we were to examine you up close, we can only make an educated guess, because again, none of us here is an MD. It's clear that this is really upsetting you, but you won't be happy with your breasts if you don't know what size you want. Really think about whether or not you want implants. Remember that while implants last a long time, they don't last forever. They will have to be replaced every 10-20 years, and that's if there's no complications. And the rate of complications is pretty durned high. I've met women who've had to have their breasts done four or five times, no joke. Also, your breasts will never be perfectly identical, because no one's are to begin with.

Now here's my educated guess: I'm guessing, after seeing your pics, that implants alone aren't going to even out your breasts as much as you'd like them to - that in order to even them out, even with implants, you're going to need a lift on the larger breast. But I can't tell you what kind of lift the surgeon will choose. That will depend on the surgeon, and what kind of scars you're willing to accept. Personally, I feel that most times, the Benelli/Periareolar/Donut scar looks worse than a vertical or t-shaped mastopexy scar, because there's so much tension on the incision line that the scar gets stretched out. For strippers, this kind of scar is not so noticeable in the dark or black lights of clubs, so if you're planning on stripping, a wider scar around the nipple only may be a good decision for you.

The next step should be for you to go on consultations with board-certified surgeons in your area. Let's narrow it down to some names, and then you can call up their offices and arrange a consult next week. It will be a nice way to start off 2007

Why don't you just go consult with a few plastic surgeons in your area? Usually they don't charge much for a consult and you can get a few different surgeon's point of view.

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of plastic surgeons in the five boroughs. You need to make sure that those you consult with are licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York, and are also board-certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties and/or the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. A teenage girl died a few weeks ago here in the city during a nose job being performed by an unqualified doctor, so doing the homework on your doctor really isn't something to fuck around with.

Any Manhattan plastic surgeon will charge a lot more than doctors in New Jersey or Long Island. They have to, because Park Avenue rent ain't cheap. Here are three specific recommendations:

All of these doctors have patients on who have written about their experiences. If there's a consultation fee, it's applicable toward the surgery if you choose that particular surgeon/office. Go on at least two consults.

Now go make the consultation appointments, and let us know how it works out for you. And maybe don't tell your mom you were advised by a bunch of strippers on the web
