    Default Work/Vacation in Hawaii

    Hey,
The boyfriend and I are thinking of doing a work/vacation kind of trip to Hawaii, probably for a few months. His job can transfer him anywhere, and I want to dance there. I've heard Rock-Za is the club to be at, is this still the case? How hard is it to get hired and should I get in touch with them before I go or is it easy to walk in and get hired?
This is a ways away, we will probably go sometime around September but I want to start researching now. Any advice is appreciated!

    PS:
Yes, I did a search! I am just looking for updated information, making sure clubs are still open and such, since the club directory is down. Most of the threads on Hawaii didnt give me much info.

I worked at the Deja Vu in Oahu for about a month and it was just okay. You are right. The Rock-za club is very very happening but there is no real dancing. Let me try to explain: The club has a bar and it is nude. There are several low stages all around the club - about 2 feet high at the max with about 7 or 10 girls on each stage. The way money is made is when a customer approaches you and sits in front of you on the stage. You then give him the best show you can which when I was there meant slowly taking your clothes off and then showing him your goods in a most seductive, slow way, to keep him there. In order for you to keep on "dancing" he must continuously give you dollars. Oh and there are no set songs, there is just music playing in the background. Every half and hour or so the DK says the girls must switch stages so they all get up and do so. It was very alien to me, much different than anything I've seen in CA. On the upside, there is no touching and no lapdances, probably b/c of the alcohol. If you have any more questions, please IM me.
