    Default My back! CRUNCHY

    My back, actually my whole body, has been a wreck since having my baby, all the picking her up and carrying her and the breasfeeding. My posture is shot and I'm always dealing with pain and soreness. I'm trying to be conscious of proper alignment and working on muscle toning, but one thing I don't know what to do about is the crunching. Every time I stretch, my back is like crunchcrunchcrunch. Could this be a vitamin thing? Does anyone know?
    I'm confused, but the Chewbacca Truffle Shuffle cleared it up. - Emily

    Dont know about the vitamins, but I have regular chiropractic, its wonderful IMO.

    are you still taking your prenates? if not start again.

    also, you need to make sure you take LOTS of calcium and d. pregnancy and nursing literally leach your bones of it!

    ditto on going to the chiro!

    And, start doing Pilates. Its great for posture realignment and strengthening up those core muscles!!

    Be very aware of how you pick your child up. You should never bend over and pick her up...you should be squatting down and lifting her...

    8 months ago. I'm still sore!! And I was in good shape before and during too. That's why I think maybe it's nutritional cause I'm losing a little weight (in addition to pregnancy weight) so I'll get on those prenatal vit. and continue to try to get in better shape. I definately want to try the chiro though. Thanks for the advice guys.
