You'll be hard pressed to find that in Arizona period. I believe Phoenix is $10/song, but in a way that's good because they sell faster than $20 dances. If you really must charge that, try doing weekend trips to Vegas or something.
$10 is basically the standard for Phoenix from what I've heard, while Tucson is anywhere from $5-$8 (basic floor dances, VIP differs)
This belongs in Club Chat btw![]()
TD's is good (from what I hear) if you can hit it before summertime.
As far as I can remember there is only $10 dances in Phx... which is fine as songs are only like 2 1/2 min long and $10 dances add up WAY faster then $20 dances, much easier to sell. Hell even in Toronto where dances are $20 I press for the $10 table dances as they're just easier. The great thing about PHX though is most clubs offer half hour VIPs which are around $150 if I remember right and they're not that hard to sell either.

Cally, are you stalking me? Our posts were very similar, right down to the exact last line....
...not that I would mind that however....![]()
So no stalking?

oh, I thought they had a TD's in phoenix. guess not. oh well.
They might...but I don't think so...
You could try to find a club that offer's $20 VIP dances and hustle those.....otherwise, yah, it's all $10.
I think there are just a few clubs that have the $20 VIP too....
Good Luck
Thank U! Do U Know The Names Of The Clubs That Offer 20$ Vips?![]()

VIPs at Bourbon Street, Bombshells, and Centerfolds are $20. At the Hi-Liter, they are $25 with a 3 dance minimum, but the house gets $5 per dance. I believe Sonny's in Chandler has a $20/dance area as well. There may be other $20 VIPs in the Phoenix area, but I don't know them so others will have to chime in.
In Tucson, both TD's (east and west), Curves, Raider's Reef, and Ten's have $20/dance VIP areas. VIPs at Candy Store are $10 (amazing, but true...).
For more detailed info, check out the Az clubs thread down below on the blue side.
Good luck.

The whole mode of operation in Phoenix is "wanna dance". You go table to table selling, and $10 dances are much easier to sell than $20 ones, so you sell more of them. Even in clubs with VIP rooms, selling VIP is hit and miss. The volume of $10 dances you sell here is MUCH higher than the volume of $20 ones you sell in other cities, so the money will average out.
If you are not comfortable with volume dance sales, Phoenix is not for you.
!thank u so much 4 the info,Tina![]()
Bourbon Street has $2o dances in VIP and I don't think they are that much harder to sell . I feel like it's about 50/50 as far as where the money comes from but definitely expect more contact in VIP...Unless it's one of my regulars , most of the time, I'd rather stay on the floor.
You know the girls that sit and talk for 30 or more minutes and try to sell VIP everytime? That's what the "other" way is like. I prefer wannadance much more, because it cuts down on the number of guys wasting my time. And I also don't feel like I get drained as much from all of the conversation. When I do sell VIP, it's to a customer who has usually bought 3-4 dances and I casually say, "Maybe we should just go to VIP." And that method has helped me make me more money, because I can tell that they're already into me. To each her own, though, some girls LIKE doing the conversation thing.

We have it sooooooo easy here in AZ. We've trained the custies to buy right away or else we'll walk away.
In other cities you often have to invest a good 5-15 minutes of conversation and allow the custie to buy you a drink in order to close one $20 sale. Also, ever notice how the out of town guys are surprised/offended/flabbergasted when we collect our $$, walk one table over and start dancing for the next paying customer right in front of them???? In other cities, you have to do a few dances, then sit and chat, and then hope the same guy buys some more dances.
I usually chuckle to myself when out of state dancers come into Christie's for one weekend and say "You can't make any money in this place" It took me a year to perfect my "AZ Hustling Strategy" which is very different from my "San Francisco Hustling Strategy" and my "Las Vegas Hustling Strategy" I make soooo much more $$ (on average) at CC selling $10 dances and $250/hr VIP than I ever did in SF or Vegas selling $20 dances and $400/hr VIPs.
Like Tina said, VOLUME makes all the difference. Guys are more likely to "try you out" for $10 even if you aren't their "type." At $20 dance clubs, they will clutch their wallet waiting for "the perfect one"
I've also noticed that certain techniques work well in one club but not in another. When I left CC and tried Bourbon St and Skin out two years ago I had a hard time adapting to the environment of those clubs. Personally, I found it easier to sell the appeal of going "upstairs" to the private VIP room than trying to sell the VIP room that is two steps away from the chair you are sitting in right now. I know, crazy....but whatever works, works.
Anyone who had taken Dancerwealth's course: This is what he's talking about when he says to "stick with one club" When you hop from one club to another you have to re-learn the environment and re-build rapport with your support staff.

I want to go to CC in phx..... You girls sound so happy there. I still REALLY like the place I'm at...but just to see.....![]()

Ditto. I've been there for 4 years of my 7 year career. Before that, I'd work 3 or 4 months at one club, hit a slow period and think "Oh it MUST be better somewhere else" In hindsight, I just hadn't found the right environment that was most conducive to money-making FOR ME.
If you are happy where you are at, then why rock the boat? Glam, Lola Lee, and I love CC because it fits our own personalities. I LOVE a big warehouse club. I LOVE the dress code because I think dancers look classier in gowns than in booty shorts. I LOVE the shift "rules" because it makes the place run smoothly.
But, that's ME. I have a lot of friends at BSC who will never come back to CC because they don't want to wear a gown, work a 5 hour shift, or sell 3 tshirts a night. Decide what YOU want from a club. You can make $$$ at any club in town, but you won't perform your best unless you are totally comfortable in your environment.
