Does anyone else feel like they buy new work shoes all the time? they wear out and get smelly so quickly it's unbelievable.

It seems like shoes are going downhill nowadays...or I am just harder on them now! I remember when I first started dancing my shoes seemed to last FOREVER, or at least til I just got sick of them. Now I feel like I have to buy new shoes every couple of months because they break or get stretched out...lame. As much as they cost you think they would be made better and last longer...

I spray mine with lysol at the end of the night and wipe them clean. Its keep the gunk and stank down.

I've actually worn the same pair of shoes to work for every shift since... oh... July. They're pleaser brand -- I used to wear the same shoes in size 8 instead of 9 and then I upgraded (the style is simple and goes with all of my outfits). I maintain them really well -- spend the $8 for really nice gel inserts and I've brought them in for repairs (elastic repair, new strap, regluing the soles) twice. I hate breaking in new shoes and they're trusty.

yes I love snaz75! re. lysol...this might be a weird quetion, but couldn't the lysol be like absorbed into your skin when you put your shoes back on?

Is that a bad thing? Hasnt hurt me at all. I do it after the shift is over to especially keep my shoes from funking up my locker. I spray then I wipe the shoes clean with paper towels.
