    Default bitchy dancers

why is it that some dancers think its cute to be a bitch?
the other night i was doing my rounds and i excused myself to ask for a tip!
I introduce myself to a new girl at the club! After she complements me on how beautiful i am this bitch says I can tell your new" I ask her how? she says "did u see me on stage"?
I'm like yeah "wtf she goes on to tell me how shes been dancing 10 years etc, etc, i just walked away while she was bragging! this is just a rant! this chick irked the hell out of me! i needed to share! ok i'm cool now!

yea i dont like girls like that...i always just look at them like theyre stupid. one girl who i met at my club not long ago was like "oh you must be new" and i was like "um no actually ive been here almost a year". but she was so stuck up about it like new girls are a disgrace to the club or something.
girls like that you gotta either put them in their place real quick, or kill them with kindness.

That's not bitchy, that's just a serious lack of manners and self esteem!

    How rude!

She said you are beautiful, and asked if you seen her on stage. She then starts telling you about her stage shows, and you walk away?

Is it perhaps just a thought she may have been trying to shoot you a few pointers? I would have heard her out before i walked away.

    Not all dancers are bitches.

What's sad is when you get called a bitch because you don't deal with other dancers in the club you work.

    Just a thought.

Don't pay attention to other girls. They are not paying your rent, car payment or whatever. Worry about yourself.

I"ve been there. Some cottage cheese assed girl with a bad boob job and a nasty face really irked me when she tried to give me advice on how to get more tips ON STAGE during our set. She had great intentions, but my thought is, you go make your money how you're gonna make it, and i'll make mine how i'm gonna make it and stay out of my business. Everyone's got their own game there. Unless my tampon string is hanging out, keep your helpful comments to yourself. That's just how I am. I don't dish out advice even if someone asks for it.

ummm...I actually don't think this girl was a bitch, I just think she makes the mistake of giving advice with out it being asked.

I always run into people who do this, people in general, not only strippers. Personally, I just listen and node along. Most of the time it will be annoying, but hey! you never know, maybe some day you can actually pick up something that will help you in the future.

At My club there are 3 girls that are the biggest bitches to Me and I never did one thing to them. But its only because of the whole french- english thing here in Quebec. I'm englissh and don't speak french so they hate on Me and 2 other My other girl friends that don't speak and french at all. But I just don't let them get to Me. I learned this the hard way but never go out of You'r way to be nice to another dancer.

New dancers are easy to spot and should take advice that is offered in a nice way by other dancers. Believe me, you have a lot to learn and some of these women can save you from repeating their mistakes.

But hey, if you think you know it all, go right ahead doing what you are doing and I guess you'll learn it all the hard way.

I would chip in though, that while it is definitely good to listen to the advice from more experienced dancers....not all advice fits everyone.

Something that works for one girl, might not work for another. I've learned this from experience.

so, listen nicely to all advice, then find what pieces of it work for you

andygirl , i'm not saying i know everything! I have a lot to learn but if you want to be helpful, talk to me in the lockerroom not in front of your customer! She was making herself feel good by putting me down!

Pamela I understand what you are saying. No, not all dancers are bitches but some of them ARE!!!!!
When you are a new girl who may be pretty, classier or more youthful some chicks feel like your hurting their money!!!
this chick has a definate chip on her shoulder and a cocky attitude! She never once tried to help me with my stage show! She was saying how great she was and how poor my dance skills were!
There are other "vet" dancers who are helpful and pull you to the side to school you on things!

HATERS! That's what I say to myself whenever a girl is nasty to me.

Like last night when a stick thin 18 year old with pasty white skin and long stringy hair who DANCES TO HIP HOP AND TRIES TO SHAKE HER NON-EXISTENT ASS told me OUT OF NOWEHERE that no one's implants should be as big as mine (I'm a perfect 34D-24-34, thank you very much) and then gave me shit when we had to share the stage and said my song ("I want candy" by the bangles) was lame. What a little hater. No one asked your opinion of my breasts or choice of songs, you generic wannabe. At least I have style.

Who cares about these girls? I am a new girl to any club I go to at this point and have been doing it for the past 2 years. I worked at the same club for 8 years and then had to deal with being the new girl. But in NYC you are not a new girl after a month.

Not wrong at all. Skin color is not the requirement here. This bitchy girl dances to music that is clearly, obviously music that you shake your booty to, and she lacks a booty. I'm talking pancake ass. A straight line down from the back to the legs. She's sickly skinny, dancng to music that preaches how wonderful curves and a big butt are. I'm 5'7 and 110 lbs and this girl makes me look voluptuous. She could get away with it if she were nice, but she is a BITCH.

Right on, it's about having your own personal style. I find that standing out from the crowd earns me quite a few admirers. Anyone who wants to deride you to make themselves look better is obviously not worth your time or energy. You know what you have, and you need not worry what someone of her caliber thinks of it.

This changes everything!!! I'm sorry, with your prior message I didn't get that her advice was given to you in front of a customer. Yeah, I can see your point now, she was over the line!!! and it is obvious that she didn't have good intentions.
