    Default Saphire's Las Vegas

Has anybody worked here recently? I was there in December and the club had turned kind of ghetto. The DJ plays way too much rap and rap videos and it was filled with all these pimp looking guys.

I usually work at the Rhino (7pm) but this week has been hard. Is this because Scores is paying the cabby's $60 a head? Does anyone know if and what Saphire's is paying?

I got really really hooked up on Tuesday and Wednesday but the club (Rhino) was so dead! Thursday night was not so good so I took last night off but I need tonight to be awesome and I don't know where to go.

I liked Saphire's in November but the last couple times it was soooo ghetto. Anyways, any advice ladies? I know CES is here next week but because I am only here for two weeks I need to work my butt off everynight I am here.

    Thanks!

Sapphire just upped to $70 a head.
They have been very slow, but new ownership just took over, and major changes are being made, and they are trying to regain their clientele and popularity. They should be getting better soon. They are always pretty good during conventions.

Thanks for getting back to me. I hate that it seems like some of the clubs depend on the cabby's to make them busy, or this seems the case when it is slow.

Do you still work there, and if so does the DJ still play non-stop Rap videos? That just kills it for the guys who have money...usually...

Its a lot of hiphop, some rock, some techno/house stuff. Depends a lot on if the dancer requested rap to be played for her. I haven't been there in about 2 weeks, but last time I was there as the firt night they started paying 70 a head, and it did get busy.

Saffire was dead when I was there. I did not like Scores and I did make great money at OG and Spearmint Rhino.
That was last March Madnes I don't know what the deal is now.

Sapphire still pretty dead.... I don't know what night you were there, girls that dance to hip hop or r&b have to practically beg the dj to play it for them. Maybe it was a Sunday, where the dj does what he wants.

Hah, when I was there Thursday, Friday and Saturday night in the beggining of December it was all they played! I wish it would get better, I like their 4 hour shift minimum.
    Thanks for everyones input.

However, I think Las Vegas is already filling up with Conventioners because my hotel is booming with the arrival of business men so I will stay positive and psyche myself up!

I like OG better. Did they remodel it yet? For as ugly as the place looks but boy do they get a crowd.

So far, CES hasn't translated into any real $$$ in the stripclubs yet. There are more girls in town to work but not more custys.

OG's, is like a brothel...gross girls and customers...IMO. All the customers expect and haggle with you for extras....yuck!

Hah, I left after 15 minutes too!

There is a lot more girls in town but I'm hoping that conventioners that I've seen around all come out tonight! I am thinking tonight is going to ROCK!

The conventions will start soon. It will be a good March Madness a great April. There are always too many dancers in LV. They pull dancers in like cattle. that is why I could never live there. I miss waking up and seeing the moutains with snow and getting a deep tan in April while everyone back in NY is freezing. That town freaked me out.

Anyways, I worked Sapphire's last night and it was busy and totally awesome! I made my goal in under 5 hours!

That's great! I did wonderful last superbowl, but I swear it was b/c I got lucky. A host hooked me up with a custie from NYC. I couldn't make a dollar on the floor after that. That's why I'm scared to work there again. I'm afraid I wont get hooked up again. And I don't want to depend on hosts. And those stages!!! First of all I hate stages, but those stages are scary looking. They are so high. I remember house fee was high and even more to pay off stage. I'm glad you did well. Hopefully I'll be brave to go back one day...
