    Default Diamonds Cabaret

A girl came into my club tonight and said that she was just in town visiting her mom for a few days. I was talking to her for a while and she said that she's a dancer at Diamond Cabaret in Denver. She said that she hardly ever walks out with less than $1500 a night. She said that they accept traveling dancers and that if I ever decide to travel, I should go there because I'd make great money. I was just wondering if any of you ever worked there, and if this is the actual amount of money that it's possible to make there. I know that dancers often exaggerate their earnings, especially when talking to other dancers, so I'm just wondering what the possible earnings actually are here. Her body shape and height, along with hair color and length were very similar to mine, except my boobs are a little bigger than hers- so if we have the same hustle, we'd probably make similar money.
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.

I'd say she's probably full of shit, but hey, you never know. I do know it's not even mentioned as one of the top two clubs in Denver to work at on this board (I believe those are Shotgun Willie's and PTs).

I worked at that club for a few months a few years ago.Beautiful club, steakhouse and dancers. There was a big potential no doubt.I've heard even bigger numbers than that, but not every night and not everybody by far.And about a year later I stopped by there when in town and it changed a lot for the worse.I also know, that it was bought out by (I'm not 100% sure)but PT's.I would doubt that at this present time anyone makes this kind of money there, and infact anywhere else on a regular basis.

I'm auditioning there thursday- I know one of the DJs there and also one of the managers- they say girls walk out of there with 300 a night if they're up n' talking to people. So, she's probably full of shit.

No one has heard about Diamond Caberet since PT's purchased it. You'll hear way more about the clothing mandatory-dance club that's above it, Tabu.

Shotgun Willies is ptobaly the most established and poplular club in Denver, followed by Penthouse and PT's Showclub. Both of the latter is owned by PT's and I would'nt work for them... EVER!!! La Boheme is a new, independently owned club that is starting to really make a name for itself. It's in the downtown area as well, right next to the convention center.

As for money... I'm a firm believer in the 80/20 rule but walking with $1500 consistantly?! Highly doubtful! If you're a 20%er here, a more realistic amout would be $500-$800 IMHO.

I'm thinking of becoming a dancer, and I live in this area, so thanks to the OP for posting this thread. I'd really be interested in hearing more from the dancers who have worked the area clubs and hearing where the most Newbie friendly, yet clean, clubs are.
BTW, this board frickin' rules. Glad to be here.

I've known many girls from Vegas that say Shotgun Willie's is the only place to dance out there and that even that place sucks. She's full of shit. I dance in Las Vegas and I don't even make 1500 once a week.....maybe like once a month, or twice.

The most impressive, up-front dancer I ever met, and she quit dancing about two years ago, was in one of the PT's clubs. She was quite open about her prep, her philosophy, her hours, her money. Quite beautiful and very charming and entertaining. She described the money as "insane." She said that once she was in the swing of things, her worst day was $400, and her best day was $1400.

I believed her, still do, and feel that her story is above average for the Denver area. She really could've made money anywhere. She was spectacular and more low-key than you might expect, but that just added to her charm. I hit the club one day right after it opened, the first one there, which is kinda pervy-feeling, and she got there early and was ready on time, so her fee was waived, and she was performing on the pole like there was a full house. A real pro.

No, I don't think $1500/night is realistic in Denver.

i actually really like the diamond it's pretty relaxed. some of the music was kinda lame but i got over that pretty fast- there are pretty girls and they all seemed friendly- managment seemed pretty laid back and relaxed too. customers were really nice to me, though i must say i really dislike the younger 'gangster wanna be baller' types that came in- only a few. it's called respect- LEARN IT. but i'm guessing that's at every club. shotgun willies and oasis have poles - don't they? we don't at the diamond.

I think one of the six stages at Shotgun's has a pole. At least one of the stages at Oasis has a pole. One of Penthouse's three stages has a pole.

Shot guns has ONE pole on their 7th stage, but they only open that many stages on weekends or busy late weekday nights. Its also a midget pole, not tall enough for tricks, i can brush the ceiling with my finger tips standing on stage there. I also worked at Diamond for a short while, made good money, but not THAT good.... certainly not consistantly every night. Denver money has been shity over the holidays for me (anyone else getting that??) This past weekend i road tripped it out to Arizona with another dancer to go work at christies.... MUCH better out there.

I currently working at La Boheme and depending on the night and the snow fall it varies.I work Sunday nights and Thursday night and average around 400 after tip out. The most I made was 700 and 200 is a bad night. I auditioned at the Diamond in November but turned it down because they wanted me to cover up my tattoos(same with shot guns)I was expecting a whole lot more from the place but it changed owership recently . I am happy at La Boheme and the manament is easy to work with .The old manger of shot gun Matt now manages at La Boheme.
