    Default Salad Dressing Makeover

What is everyone's favorite salad dressing when they are watching calories/fat and when they are not. Anyone found any great ones that are better for them?
Personally, i love ranch dressing...the real kind...no non-fat or fat free...but i found myself eating it with fresh salads all the time(which i m ok with) but realized i did not want it to become a habit.
So now i also use Ken's light Olive/vinigrette (sp)...i did not think i would like it but i really do,,,gives my veggies/salads great flavor and is about 6 grams less of fat since it is not creamy. Did not have to use alot either since it is "runny" and seeps into all parts of my salad.
Anyone looking should give it a try.

I'm a big fan of the spray red wine vinagrette. Yummy and almost zero calories/fat!
I also like Kens light Parmesan peppercorn when I'm in the mood for something cheesy and creamy

Wish Bone Salad Spritzer in Basalmic Vinegarette! I actually tried it for the first time last night, and liked it so much I had two bowls of greens! It's only 1 calorie per spray.

I just use fat-free clear dressings. I actually adore the ones from McDonald's. In general, though, I'll eat any clear dressing.

Not really. The red wine vinagrette I use is REALLY flavorful so i only use a cpl spritzes(like maybe 4 or 5) for a whole salad.

I primarily use ranch. Call it the weapon of choice. Heh. But sometimes I like a lighter taste so I go with a raspberry vinaigrette. I have to be in a mood though... so maybe, 1 out of 20 times....

Olive oil and whatever vinegar I fancy. Balsamic vinegar is my current fav.

At the moment I'm using a bit of flaxseed oil and then a pepper/sea salt/herb mix grinder over it. If I'm really trying to cut down, I just replace the oil with lemon juice.

the spray dressings are pretty good for the calories, but they get boring after awhile

My new fave is Newman's Own Lighten up Sesame Ginger. I put it on greens with green onions and cilantro (and sliced almonds if I'm feeling crunchy) and it's very tasty.

I really like the hidden valley ranch Light.
Its not fat free but its not terrible either and i only like a very light coating.
I think it tastes fantastic with lots of fresh ground pepper!
