    Ever fallen off the Stage?

Has anyone else fallen off the stage during their set? The story goes like this, the club that I work at opened before the sun came up on NewYears Day.I got a good nights sleep and didn't go out the night before. I was up at 5AM and the first of two girls to open up the club.It was a good time mostly because the party had countinued from the night before . The demand for dancers was high and supply of us fell short ,all of us had to dance twice as much a regular night(it was good money) . I was schedualed to get off a 2 PM but not enough girls showed up so I was asked to stay longer. Now, 8 hrs later I went up on stage again and did a move that I always had done but this time I missed judge the space I had to work with and rolled right off . I landed on my feet and I was so embaressed .I got back on stage and laughed at myself and with the costumers (they were all very supportive). It being a week and some later ,I don't have as many flash backs of falling ,or the feelings of embaressment that accompany it. The scene still runs throw my mind and all I can do is laugh. What else can you do?

Awwww... I hope you weren't hurt! I understand the feeling of embarassment though, that's where sympathy tips come in. I personally have never fallen off of the stage but I have fell about four feet off the pole. I was working at a bikini bar and did a simple invert. The plan was to slide down the pole with my legs spread... Pretty simple, right? Eh, well I thought I was going to "fall out" so I grabbed my boobs with one hand with the other still on the pole. Lol, but my other hand slipped right off that pole and I landed on my back. I wasn't hurt at the time and I tried to laugh it off. A few hrs later I was sore as all hell. I guess you're right, all you can do is laugh-and hope that it never happens again.

Sigh.....yes, I've fallen off of the stage before. I was wearing new shoes at the time and hadn't learned how to walk in them. But, it happens to many girls...nothing to be ashamed of

I haven't fallen OFF the stage--knock on wood! But last week I was walking from one pole to the other....tripped on the dress that I'd taken off and thrown on the floor, and stumbled into the pole, grabbing it for dear life so as not to completely fall on my face--how graceful!

I haven't fallen off the stage but in one of our clubs the shower show is watched by the entire room, and I slipped over. I lied on the floor in a big puddle of water and bubbles for about 2 minutes laughing my ass off, then got back up and continued. I got tipped quite well, hehe. And no one mentioned it either until I brought it up...

I've never fallen off, but I've almost done so, and ended up on the bar surrounding the stage a few times.

    lol
I've never fallen off the stage!!! BUT! I have had my very very embarrasing moments. On my very first night I slipped about 3 times on stage during the same performance because I didn't know how to walk with my shoes. Lots of simpathy tips....I didn't like it.

Oh yeah, and about 2 weeks ago I fell on my ass because I missed a step on the way to the vip section of my club. Only 2 guys saw me, so it wasn't that bad. hahaha! but yeah....we've all been there. lol

Our stage is only about 3 inches off of the ground and I did fall off of it on Monday while a customer was standing there tipping me. It was a short fall but it looked pretty crazy because I fell right into him. He had to catch me so I didn't fall over the brass rail around the stage. I was pretty embarrased but no one really cared.

Now on Saturday I lost my wig on stage and THAT was embassasng.

Nope not off the stage, but at my old club we have stairs behind the stage that lead into the dressing room, it's actually the way we enter the stage, we leave off the side onto the main floor...but anyway...my girlfriend and I were on stage together at one point, doing a two girl set.... they called an extravaganza (read sell shit for the greedy man) and we had to leave the stage together...

Well....I stumbled, she bumped into my butt as I was bent over, we both missed our next step and wound up lying on the stairs, head down legs up all tangled together in front of the house mom, the bouncer and every girl in the club (since they were all in the dressing room waiting to grab a T-shirt).

    Good times......

one time i was on the catwalk, kneeling (ours is fairly high up) and i reached out to put my arms around the shoulders of a customer (who was tipping). for some reason he decided this would be a great time to move about about a foot backwards. because i had planned on supporting the front 1/2 of my body on his shoulders, and he wasn't there anymore, i flipped foward off the catwalk and into the chairs. he felt so bad that he gave me an extra $10. i know it looked funny too because it was as if i hugged an invisible person and "fell through" them.

that reminds me of the time a drunk guy i was giving a dance to (who wouldnt stay still) accidently smashed his head into my lip, causing it to bleed everywhere. he gave me $50 more. lol he felt bad because i had told him to be more still about 2 or 3 times before hand, because he'd come close to injuring me before. he was like... headbanging/moving with the music.

and when i used to work clubs with polls....... i had a lot better "falling" stories.

I've fallen off the pole before. Some stupid woman at my club uses this bronzing lotion every damn day at work and they dont' say shit to her, well I was up after her and I thought I had wiped down the pole enough.... Apparently not, I just tried doing a simple spin and fell off landed on my ass. Very embarrassing, I think it happens to everyone when girls loose their balance, mis judge, or the poles/floors are slippery. It's okay as long as you can laugh about it later. I did.

Not all the way off the stage, but a couple of weeks ago one of the rubber things on the bottom of my heels came off. The whole night I kept reminding myself "Don't try to land on that foot. You will fall." My second stage set of the night, what did I do? Of course, my foot flew out from underneath me and I went sliding off the stage like one of those cartoons of someone stepping on a banana peel. Right into a customer. At least he kept me from falling all the way off! Plus he did give me a sympathy tip...

Don't be embarassed, I think pretty much every stripper falls at some point!

I always say you're not a real tried and true stripper until you fall off the stage.

Ohh I remember when our club had a popped floor board under the carpeting, all they did was put dark(?duh idiots?) in a squared area around the bump until a month later when they fixed it. I did the trip, hop walk it off type thing more times then I could count. The first time I tripped on it though I fell flat on my face. Just about every girl tripped and fell on that damn board. Lots of broken acrylics!

Haha! How come we never see this shit on Americas Funniest Home Videos??

Kaylinn, reminds me of a time during one of those stupid bachelor party shows. I was standing on a guys lap as he was in a chair/tied to the pole. I planned on jumping down onto his lap and straddling him... Well, on the way down I caught part of his head with my lip. I had a fat lip all night long. Talk about embarassing...

The stage at my new club will be the death of me

Seriously though who makes a fucking walkway 3 feet wide with a pole on it... and a plexiglass floor AROUND the pole *grumble*

Went to do a hand-stand against the pole, and missed it completely lol!

At least i found it funny, it seems less embarrassing if you can laugh it off

I did that all the time when I first learned how to do handstands against the pole lol... I dont know how many times I missed and kept going right over! I refuse to do it at the club im booked at now, their damn stage is too narrow and poles WAY to close to the side of the stage.

I fell off...not completely off, but onto the tip rail. Our club has railing all around the stages, since we have a STRICT 3 feet rule. I was laying on one of them (like many girls do...and started slipping...then BAM! Onto the bar I went. Smashed an ash tray with my ass. It was hot. Made me lotsa money though lol, everyone felt bad for me.

I had a most embarrassing incident happen to me my first week of dancing. It was late Saturday night, and I was doing a pole routine. I had just dropped my G-string, and I turned up side down on the pole. My G-string had caught on one of my heels. When I came down, the other heel caught in the G-string, and I went "WHAP!", right on my butt. I slide on the end of the stage, heels over my head, almost into this guys lap. There was a roar of laughter in the club. I do not know which hurt the worse, my butt, or my pride. The dj said, "Lets all give Kamakaze Kim a big hand." I was picking up my tips and walking back to the dressing room. Guys were laughing and giving me tips. This one guy handed me $20 and said, "Here honey, that is the best show I have seen in years." Needless to say, I made sure kicked my G-string out of the way next time.

I fell off the side cage stage once. It being about 6 feet off the ground, it was quite scary. There's only like a 1 foot ledge for you to slide through the cage bars out to let the custy to tips you, so while I was trying to turn around on the ledge to get back in the stage I feel backwards into the tipping custy's lap
