Default Oregon people, can you help me?

    This is a semi-odd request...so here goes.

My boyfriend's brother moved to Oregon a couple of months ago to get away from Utah, and get to a more diverse community (he's gay, got sick of mormons, long story short). He lives in Portland. Well, right after the holidays he lost his job. (I believe he was working at a market/grocery store) And, even though he's put out 15 apps, he hasn't been able to find anything. He doesn't have a car, and rides his bike everywhere. Does anyone know of anywhere that is hiring or that he could check out? I don't know the area, but I could PM you his street if that would help. He's worked as a grocery manager at an organic market here, and has other retail jobs.

Please if anyone has any ideas let me know, poor guy stayed there over the holidays by himself cuz his job wouldn't let him have time off, then right afterwards he lost his job Thank you!

There's a lot of organic/local/gourmet groceries here -- Whole Foods, New Seasons, Zupan's, Wild Oats, and then a lot of smaller co-ops and such. Nothing comes to my attention right now -- oh wait! the adult lingerie/toy/stripperwear shop in my hood had a hiring sign up and I'm pretty sure the dude who runs it is gay so maybe the Gay Mafia can help him with a gig, ha ha. It's called Fascinations and it's on NW 21st in Portland. There's also one on SE 82nd.

I hope things look up for him, 'cause Portland is awesome! Not the best job market, though.

I know it isn't the same for every city, but here in Portland lots of legit jobs are posted on craisglist. He should definately check that out.
