Default help needed - false eyelashes for sensitive/allergic skin

i know there are some threads about false eyelashes, but my question is a bit more specific. do any of you who have sensitive/allergic skin have an eyelash brand you like best? i have really sparse eyelashes. the kind that -no matter what fantastic mascara i use- clump together because they are thin and sparse. i want to get some -realistic- fake eyelashes, but i worry that the glue will irritate my eyelids. any suggestions? also, how much do they cost and how long to they typicaly last? i've only ever used the halloween kind, so i'm no expert on technique either.

Duo (can buy at mac and some drugstores) is the least irritating glue that i have tried so far.

I have sensitive eyes, and I use an eye primer under them. also, you're not supposed to (b/c they can pull out) but you can glue them more on your own lashes then on your skin.

oh, if you get your eye wet with them (+primer) they can come off! so stay dry. If you sweat alot (your brow) this method probably won't work!

this is the primer I use:

I have super sensitive skin but have never had a problom with any eyelash glues. As far as the lashes themselves, I usually throw them out after a single use.

I love these lashes and the glue. It's just too bad the company doesn't sell additional glue bottles.. it's the best stuff I've ever used. The lashes are pretty sturdy and last weeks, especially if you use body butter and a cotton ball at the end of the night to remove them (instead of just yanking them off).

girls have written that the Shu Uemura eyelash glue is good for sensitive skin. I believe it's latex-free.

cool. i'm gonna go this week and pick some up. i'll be armed with a list of possibilities and i'll get whichever is available. i'm pretty worried that my clutzy ass is going to put them on wrong or spend an hour in the bathroom trying.

limit your trying time to 15-20. lol. an hour isn't worth it!

also, cover the line/any lessups w/ eyeliner. I love the waterproof liquid from mac, and put mascara to blend your lashes w/ the fakes. you can get it off w/ remover, and reuse the lashes.
