    my x-pole review!

Yay, my x-pole finally arrived. It took about 30 minutes to read all the instructions, take the measurements, and set up the pole. It will be much faster if I need to move it and set it up again. It is very sturdy and so much fun!! The only thing that was worrisome at first was this: the pole has an upper dome which you are supposed to position between two ceiling joists. Well, this pole is from the UK, and standard UK ceilings have the joists about 13-14 inches apart. US ceilings are standard 15 inches apart. The dome is just 15 inches across, so it just BARELY sits on the edges of the joists, instead of center of the joists. The pole still seems very sturdy, though. I trust my weight on it, and have been using it for about a week with no problems so far. My 200+ pound husband has been swinging on it as well. Shipping was very fast; it arrived to the West coast from the UK in about a week.
    Sooo much fun!!!

I would line the center of the dome up with one joist. That's how my Super Pole is and its super-sturdy!
With all the stupid things guys will say, stay cool.

Yep, as long as you line up the dome right down the middle of a joist, then it is fine underneath 1 joist

I believe you find it the same way you do a stud in the wall.

Is there any way to get an x-pole shipped to the US?
