Specifically, Tonalin CLA and Cymbalta (20mg). Haven't found anything useful in my Google searches. Is there a doctor in the house?

It says on the Tonalin site that they haven't tested it with ANY other drugs. So it would be running blind in my opinion. I would check with whoever prescribed the Cymbalta, drug interactions are so dangerous these days, especially since the Tonalin hasn't had any research studies with other types of drugs.
Yeah, you may want to check with your pharmacist and not your doctor. Pharmacists are more up-to-date with drug interactions.

^^ agreed. My pharmacist said it was fine to combine CLA and wellbutrin, but I believe cymbalta is a different type of anti-d

You should check with a pharmacist, but I really doubt there would be any problem. CLA isn't a drug, right? It's an isolated nutrient?
^ Yes, but it would suck if the CLA caused the anti-d to be less potent, or whatever.
yeah, tonalin is just a fat. It's not a drug.
Most listed drug-drug interactions are between prescription drugs where the drug companies have to publish interactions prior to FDA approval. I don't think anyone can give you an answer with 100% but I would agree with the previous poster that considering what the ingredients are it should be safe.
Don't know what cymbalta is but I know on buspar you CANNOT eat grapefruit and some other more obscure citric foods. Sounds off topic, but some drugs can have reactions with non-drugs... Just call your local pharmacy! I have CVS on speed dial so I can harass them 24/7 with my drug interaction questions.

I know there are a few drugs like that. I know with MAOI's there were a ton of foods I couldn't eat, it changed the absorption rate of the medicine. With my Seroquel I can't go outside for too long if it is hot, because it changes my body's temperature receptors. I don't realize I am getting hot because I don't sweat, so I just pass out. All kinds of weird stuff is possible on meds, things I would have never thought possible, so I call the pharmacy anytime I want to take anything, natural or not.
Was also worried about the possible negative effects of being on the anti-d and working out, specifically my Bikram yoga workouts. Today's class was fine, but the teacher was softy today. Don't wanna stroke out in the class!
CLA is fat, pure and simple. If you can take down hamburger, you're downing itty bitty bits of CLA, more if it's farm-raised.
