    Default nightly goals

when u go into work do u have a certain amount of money that if you do not make you are upset and if so what is that amount? has that goal remained consistant over the course of your dancing career or has it grown higher over the years? do u find that u are currently making more or less than when u started dancing on average?

I go in wanting to sell in a range of dances. I try for as high as I can, of course, but saying. "I'll be ok with x# of dances, happy with x#, and super excited with x#."
I make a more then when I started, in less time. I've been dancing a year. The goal changes, but it is realistic 99% of the time. Every once in a blue moon I'll miss the goal, but not often.

Well I used to have a goal in my head everynight when I first got into work. But a while back I believe it was Paris who wrote that instead of having a nightly goal, she has a weekly one. If you make your goal for the week early, then relax. It is actually better for me this way. Some nights are just bad nights, and sitting there stressing that I didn't make my goal won't help ya know!

My daily and weekly goals are pretty attainable, but if I don't make them, I will work my night off. And yes, it's increased over the last year. New boobs and better club has helped immensely.

I don't have a dollar amount... because some men will tip after dances, many will not, sometimes there are unexpected dollar showers, sometimes there will be three men in the club, sometimes 30. Sometimes a regular will come in, some days not. My club is so completely unpredictable it's almost funny.

So, instead, I have personal goals to help increase max $$ amount while I am working.

1.) Maximize $$ amount for time... i.e. Hustle, hustle, hustle. Do not be lazy.
2.) Be less fearful of language barriers- even if it's a "wannadance-" try approaching customers who do not appear to (or simply don't) speak English. (this was my main NYE resolution, as well as being on time)
3.) Use Hustle Hut closers instead of "asking"... I try "telling" (customers to get dances)
4.) If a customer seems to like my dances, I make sure to tell him my schedule, and that I would love to dance for/see/talk to him again... hoping to build repeat customers.
5.) I refuse to be lazy on stage no matter how few customers are in the club.

I find that a set dollar goal stresses me out or makes me lazy, depending on how close I am to reaching it. A weekly goal goes a bit better, because I can tell myself that the sooner I make that goal, the sooner I get a night off.

In your imaginary strip club in your head, or what? Because surely you weren't making it up that you got out of dancing and are so thankful about it...

Thank you for reminding me how much I dont miss dancing.
Anyways, I have a reasonable set dollar amount... But I don't kill myself if I don't make it... sometimes it's just DEAD.

I have a daily and weekly dollar amount goals...I make them attainable, but still as high as I think I can go (I change clubs a lot so it varies depending on where I am). I rarely miss the weekly one (won't work extra if I do though, I'll just cut expenses somewhere); I miss the daily one sometimes and am always PISSED when I do.

I have weekly goals. I try to focus on those more. Say I work 3 days and I make my goal within those 2 days then day 3 is 'extra' money. I try to make and save as much as I can at the beginning of the month so at the end of the month Im not stressing out over exspenses.
