    Default cant work out with a broken ankle.. help!

    since i fractured my ankle, i feel so gross! it's only been 4 days but still.. i cant do much but sit with my foot up. i'm going to be this way for at least another week and a half and i dont know what to do. i know i've been eating bad and more because i'm bored, but i have been drinking a ton of water and other than that only low fat milk. any ideas of anything i can do so i dont feel like a cow when i do get back to work?

    do upper body work.... maybe crunches or lifting weights? Also, for me, cooking is so relaxing and it helps me eat better. I think it's because when you take the time to make somethnig healthy it helps you feel good about yourself and putting only nutritious things into your body.

    Yep...do some bicep curls, tricep extensions, etc....

    Also If you prop your feet up on the couch, or a chair you can do crunches

    Or.....you could just enjoy the break for a cpl weeks...;-)

    i'm keeping my fingers crossed for only 2 weeks. the doctor said it could be up to 6, i go back for more xrays after 2 weeks is up. i just feel crappy sitting around all day every day!
