I took a customer to the private dance area last night and as we sat down there staring up at us from the floor was a plastic bag with 2 pills inside. The customer said "oh someone has dropped there ecstacy here".
There were no other free couches so I did the dance there and I felt paranoid the whole time - I was worried that management would walk up and think it had something to do with me.
So I completed the dance and then as I was walking out the customer said something like "oh you should wait and see who comes back for their drugs" right in front of my manager.
I just wanted to mind my own business and totally ignore the situation but the manager heard this and gave me a weird look. When the customer walked off I told my manager that there were some pills on the floor near the couch. So he went and got the pills.
I really wish I was not put in the situation coz if they belonged to another dancer I don't want to be the one pointing them out to the manager coz I don't want it to get back and make it look like I'm "dobbing" someone in.
If the customer hadn't said that so loudly I would have just ignored it but I don't want any drugs associated with me.
My manager then asked me if I had noticed any drug activities in the dressing room and I said no (which is actually true) and he then said that he knows who is and who isn't on drugs.
Did I do the right thing here or should I have just kept my mouth shut?
I was just worried that after the customer shouted that thing out about the drugs that my manager would find them and think coz I was over there last that they were mine.
