    Default No pole work..Yikes!!

Hi ladies, Im really concerned about working the poles at any club and I was wondering if anyone can refer me to a decent money-making lapdance club(s) in nyc. Preferably in manhattan. Also, does anyone know anything about Priviledge? Thank you in advance.

While I can't help you with any NY clubs seeing as I am in the DC area, I can tell you that pole work is not important. In my 5 years of dancing, I have NEVER done pole tricks and I do just fine. As long as the other parts of your stage show (presence, sexyness, floor work) are good, you don't have to worry about pole work.

Pole work is not important... I work in many clubs that dont have poles, you just need to learn to entertain other ways... learn some floor work, smile more, bring some cute little props into your show, spend some time talking up the guys at the tip rail etc....

It is hard to balance on stage in heels with no platform and no pole. Mix that with drinking and you could end up on your arse.
Only in New York kid, only in New York.

Well thats why you dont drink at work, you focus on your money. Also any girl whos been dancing longer then 3 months should be able to dance in their heels and not worry about needing something to hold onto.

And no not only in New York.. i've seen many clubs in both Canada and the US with no pole.

I know how this might sound but Im going to ask anyway! Is floorwork crawling around on stage and stuff like that or dancing at tables....wait I think that would be table dances. Geez I have so much to learn.

floorwork is crawling around onstage. table/lap dances are done on the floor. Its okay, at least you know what floorwork is! I sure didn't when I first started. :-)
