Default Is a Wii worth dying for?

California wife and mother of three finds out the hard way. What's sadder is that she didn't even win.

Very strange and ironic that the radio station's nickname was "The End".

What's sad is someone would risk thier health to win a gaming system.
I feel for the kids though.

Thats a shame. That was a stupid contest to begin with, I dont think they thought it through. AT the very least, holding your pee for long periods of time will give you a bladder infection. Not a safe contest.

Yes, a strange situation. But, people seem to risk life & limb for these things, as evidenced when they waiting in line for PS 3.

Wow I stood outside in the cold for three hours with a "wii ticket" while walmart was open for a wii. I thought that was extreme. Poor womem :-( It's hard to imagine how her babies feel.

    Oh my.

Whoever thought of this contest should have known this was a health risk - obviously if they said that.

This is one of those deaths that in no way should have happened.

    Poor kids.

    Ya... wee/wii. It's a play on words.

The radio station actually told all participants not to keep going if they thought it was something that would hurt thier health etc....

Fellow contestant James Ybarra of Woodland said “They told us if you don’t feel like you can do this, don’t put your health at risk.”

Can't blame the station for the participants stupidity.

I also saw the wee = wii thing.

As unfortunate as it is ...... I hope someone out there learns the folly of entering such competitions. It is only a gaming system! I would understand someone doing something like that to win a year's supply of food or water or a house (the basics - food, water, shelter) however not something that is not needed in order to survive.

She had her priorities all wrong.
