    Default More tats..need input

I have this tattoo now and I finally decided on what to get more as an add on to this one. Going to add on 2 koi fish on each side. One going up and one going down.

I really want to just give a little more oomph than just another flower tattoo to my tattoo.

What do you guys REALLY think of tattoos? Are tastefully done ones ok or not at all?

I'll have to inspect it in person to give you a good opinion.

Tattoos that are tasteful and don't look like a result of a lost bet are a'ok by me.

Personally, I REALLY don't like them. I'll usually tolerate one or two small ones if the dancer is my type otherwise, but large tattoos will usually squash the deal for me.

    And fish? why why why?

What part of your body is that? Lower back? Upper back? Forehead? That info might be helpful.

My feelings on tatttoo's, less is better, small ones are okay, don't care much for the overly large ones.

It breaks down like this for me:

    1) Some over 40 guys grew up in a time when tats on women were considered not-sexy. I'm one of those guys, but...

    2) Personally, I think in some cases they can be hot. In some cases they can be excessive or make the girl look like a dude. I wish I could explain that in more detail, but I can't - except on a case by case basis. Depends on the pattern, depends on where it's placed, and sad but true, depends on the age of the girl. Later in life, tats that once looked hot can end up looking trashy on older women. When the skin starts to loose some of the elasticity of youth, the tats placed on them suffer as well.

    3) There is a life after stripping. Placing them where they can be kept more private is something to consider (like sexy underwear, enjoy it, but doesn't mean it's always appropriate to show it in public). There are jobs where tats are just not cool (including many high paying jobs). Something to think about.

    1. Fewer is better. None is best.
    2. If you have to have one (or two), smaller (like under 4 sq inches) is better.
    3. Don't put them on your arms or front torso, sans maybe a small one in the abdominal area.
    4. Best spots are the lower calves, outer hips and the "tramp stamp" area (the small of your back).
    5. Please do not sleeve your legs, even partially.

And while too much body modification (including piercings) can be a deal killer for me, if I were a total hardass about it, I'd have a hell of a time buying any dances around these parts. Although for what its worth, the ATF is one of the few gals at her club with no tats.

Thanks for the input. Why fish...ahem they are koi. In most eastern cultures they are a symbol of strength and power over adversity and power in general. Forgot to add that the real size is about 4x5 on my lower back. Itll be nice to cover em up later in life for the corporate world.

Eh maybe I will just stick with coloring it in again and add nothing else. Guys compliment on how nice it is in person; of course, others have said they would rather just have skin and no tat.

Any younger under 35 guys want to comment if there are any on the board? Im curious too.

Koi fish are also a symbol of luck and fortune in some asian cultures. I'm still in the under 35 demographic and as I said earlier, I don't mind tats (or piercings). I think it has more to do with whether or not it suits the individual.

Its not a deal maker or breaker for me. Ive had a couple of favs that were mildly inked. And a few who werent. My current has a tiny tat on one of her toes, some Chinese symbol on her left tit and a small but colorful one just above and to the left of her coochie. As Jay said, if they arent that distracting its all good.

I'm usually too distracted by other things to worry about a little ink!

Generally speaking, I don't like any ink on a girl. None. That said, my recently retired ATF was heavily inked and pierced. It really depends on the girl. Too many girls get tats that don't really suit them or convey a message/attitude/appearance that's not particularly fitting or attractive.

But then again, I'm in the over-35 crowd, so maybe my vote doesn't count. Hehe...

For some really amazing "fish" tats, check out the legs on Sirene: http://sirenesdarkgrotto.com/home.html
Those are tats on her legs from top to bottom, not some kind of patterned tights!

Of course, a fetish model/Domme may be able to take advantage of a more extreme approach.

I'm a sucker for the lower-back tramp-stamp but otherwise don't really notice tats either way. I don't have an opinion about the tat in the OP. (In person, my attention would likely be preocuppied by the amber-honey canvas on which its been drawn )

Tattoos on a woman really light my fire! I don't know why. Piercings also. (Just don't do the ring through the lip. Reminds me of a hooked fish.) Very nice flower BTW. The koi will be a nice touch.

Nice! That's some serious leg work. I have one tat on my arm. I've been wanting to get some more but unfortunetly I can't afford it because I keep spending all my money in the strip clubs. Actually I do plan on getting at least one more but the guy that did my last one is booked up for about a year. He's the only one I trust to do it for me so I guess I have to wait.

Since you asked what we really think...I think tattoos are unattractive. It's a shame that a woman puts ink all over her beautiful body.

I've never met a person with tattoos who doesn't regret getting them.

Sweetheart, I think the one you have is adorable, but then, I always did.

What's with all the negative tat karma floating around on blue? I don't know a single hott girl under 25 who is not inked in some way. It's like not being shaved, or Brazilian waxed.

well, old (40+) guys don't tend to like them. At least this guy doesn't. I'd still buy dances from you with your current tat, but if it was bigger, probably not. Why mar such beautiful skin?

I'm 40+ and I love tats on a woman. Especially on the lower back or around the ankles or wrists.

Tattoos don't stop me from buying dances, unless a woman has lots of them. One, two, or three tattoos is one thing. Being sleeved is another.

I saw a dancer with a tattoo of baphomet on her back. I was like WOW. That girl knows how to party. When I pointed this out to my friend, he was like - You just ruined her for me.

    Really?

Are any of you so religious that the subject matter of a tattoo would dissuade you from getting a dance from a girl that you were otherwise ready to with?

I mean you are already in a strip club so how wholesome can you really be?

A couple of interesting books, "The End of Faith" by Sam Harris, and "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins explore the topics of faith in the face of modern science, people's behaviors in regards to religion and faith, and several other topics. Bottom line argument for both books - when it comes to religion and how people think and feel about it, don't expect entirely rationale reasoning (since by definition faith demands belief without evidence).

Personally I'd like to think it would not dissuade me, but I grew up in the same society that many of us did, and had a lot of my feelings shaped by the same influences as everyone else. It wouldn't surprise me if at least part of me felt a little creeped out by some body art subjects.

I agree with your synopsis. It is relevant. By my lights though, Stripping, Rock n' Roll, tattoos, and a little bit of Satanic iconograhy seem to go togther. They are all a little bit naughty. I'm not saying worship satan or worship anything, or fear anything, but maybe consider it part of the theatrics of the situation.

Just a thought, probably preaching to the um.. choir. Sorry i could not resisit.

As far as tattoos, more and more people from all walks are getting them. Probably lot of people you know have them and you just haven't seen them with their clothes off to notice.
