    Question for you ladies

I'm just wondering if stripping/dancing becomes like any other job after awhile......what I mean does it become boring and your thinking "I've got to get out of here" or do you still in enjoy it after doing it for awhile?

    Thanks for your responses.

    yes and no.

for me, if i get like that, i work harder because there is nothing like that rush when you count your money at the end of the night and youve banked

I enjoy the high I get from dancing. Sometimes, not often, after I have worked some long shifts, I do not look forward to going back in.

After 6 yrs, and the club scene slowing down here considerably..yeah I'm about there. I still have good days where I bank and have fun...but there are a LOT of days when I'm watching the clock too..

It's both for me. I really enjoy the job for all the perks, bu I wouldn't be terribly upset either if one day another better job came around.

It's still fun for me, but I think like any job, there are days you just don't want to be there or aspects of it htat bug you, the same thing could be said about a desk job, or under water basket weaving.

I do enjoy my job, but increasingly the customers are expecting more sexual stimulation and don't want to spend as much money. When I first started customers were kicked out if they were asking for sex in exchange for money, but today we'd have no customers left if we kicked out the custies for that kind of behavior.

I love dancing on the stage and make good money doing so (had a $198 stage set recently, for 15 minutes show ), but I don't like the increased amount of time I have to spend grinding on laps to make a living.

I guess stripping is in a lot of ways a "regular" job. I love my job, I love money, dancing, feeling hot, make up, dressing up, etc, etc. But I know some girls don't like it and only do it because they have to. I guess you can get fed up with it, but it hasn't happened to me just yet.

I remember when I first started four years ago, it's like I couldn't wait to get there. I had that new girl gleam in my eye (you gals know what I'm talkin bout!) I rocked that place. Guys wanted dances left and right, and I think it's because they could tell that I was just so excited to be there. It's still like that sometimes. I still get that little rush before going onstage. Those lil butterflies in my tummy I still enjoy putting on those "stripper" clothes and that "stripper" makeup" that obviously I don't get to wear outside of there. I don't think it'll ever become a regular job because, well, it's definitely not your normal 9-5'er. It's a whole other world and that's why I love it soo much still

^^ I remember that feeling.....I couldnt WAIT to get to work. That was back when guys were just out to have fun and spend money on pretty girls, not get laid for the cheapest price they can negotiate with the hookers....ugh.....back then it was just one big party every night that I banked at...guys throwing cash at me, buying bottles of champagne....seriously...just a big party.

    sigh.......I miss those days.......

^ Me too! Even after I went back after taking a year or so off, it just wasn't the same as when I FIRST started.

Hell yes. But at least you can always change your scenery by visiting another club for awhile. I like having a home base club, then when I get bored I'll just bounce around but I always end up back at home.

Alot of times dancing is great fun. Other days it's a real drag. Some days I'm bored/sad/tired and I want to go home or run away to a nice little island. I take time off and I get all misty about my job so I end up buying a few new sexy outfits and coming back. If I get fed up I go on vacation and eventually I return to my calling. All in all, I love it.

It definately is like any other job. The advantage to stripping is that you can choose your own vacation times, what cities and towns you decide to work in, and what weeks or days you decide to work.

Since everyone has to make a living, boredom hits dancing just like it does 8-5 jobs too. It just depends on which job involves the least boredom, the most flexibility, and most financial reward.

I have another, different question. I'm very new at stripping and I'm pretty young (23) and what I' like some help getting over is this:

How do you deal with the guys always treating you like a piece of meat to hump and throw away? I mean, it's fun dancing and all on the stage, but when I go out to mingle with the boys, They're forever saying very rude things to me, very sexually charged things, making it clear that theywant to go somewhere clsoe and "do" me. At first it was flattering to have all that heavy breathing going on for me, but now it makes me feel dirty.

Tell them that. Dont EVER let anyone make you feel like that. Guys who talk like that rarely spend a great deal anyway so you arent missing out on much.
If they are talking like that WHILE spending money....dirty talking is just some guys "thing"...I just look away and giggle to myself at how pathetic they are...unless they are TRYING to do something..then let them know in no uncertain terms that you are NOT a prositute and tehy are welcome to go out to the street corner and get themselves a crackwhore to satisfy them.

When I first started I also couldn't wait to get to work, in fact that lasted a few years for me. At some point it became more of a job and less pure fun, but it's still fun for me and I missed it when I tried to quit. I get burnout occasionally and need a break.

My biggest problem now is just getting bored with the same club, same customers, same city. I fight boredom by changing clubs, travelling, moving now and then.

I still love the job, but it IS a job. I'd rather do this one than any other I can think of, so I reckon I'll do it til I can't do it no mo'!
