Default Another important birth control question

i have been on the pill YAZ for almost 3 months. Feb. Will be my third month.
Last month i got a light period around the time the pack indicated i would(sugar pills)
This month, i started a light period today...but still have 7 more pills left bc my "sugar" pills. Is this just a regular "spotting symptom" ? I woke up with the feeling that i had my period.... in my stomach...
Should i still be taking this week? I assume i should be. I can not get ahold of my doctor.

Keep taking the pills every day until you can get ahold of your doctor. It may be an inappropriate dose.

I had this a few months ago... It may be that you're not getting enough progestin during the last part of the cycle so the period comes early. I would just keep taking them regularly until you see your doc to be safe.

I got swtitched to a tri-phasic pill (Linessa) and it has gone back to normal.

Oddly, birth control is one pill where they seem to think that one size fits all. Any other medication is dosed based on your weight and/or tolerance. If this happens more often, you may be getting too low of a dose.
Other causes could be a missed pill, or you did not absorb a pill due to diarrhea or vomiting.

The same happened to me while I was on Alesse. Keep taking them until you can see your healthcare provider, so you can switch pills without losing contraceptive control.

Alot of bc pills will cause you to spot for the first few months. Three months is normally enough time for your body to adjust. After that,, i would see if i could get my pill changed.

Yeah, I gave my pill 3 months and it broke my face out. I figured my body was still "getting used to" the pill, but I called Planned Parenthood and they said that by 3 months, I should already be adjusted. This is my first week on Cyclessa. On my previous pill (Ortho tri-cyclen lo) I did spot a little. It was from me not taking it on the same time every day.
