    Default uv reactive manic panic

I bought a jar of cotton candy pink and I was going to put some streaks in my hair. (Gotta bleach first since I have almost black hair.) But then I saw that the dye glows under a blacklight. Will I look like a dumbass with glowing streaks in my hair? I kind of want to just put the whole jar in my unprocessed hair and see if the uv reactive stuff sticks to it. Then maybe I'll have hair that looks normal but glows! But I'm also afraid that it will stick to my damaged ends and eventually I'll just have tips that glow. Errr. Anyone done this before?

Bleached blonde hair already glows under a blacklight, so I cant tell if the manic panic makes it glow any more. I don't think the dye's blacklight effect is very strong at all. I have a blacklight in my room and held the jar up to it and not a whole lot happened. Then again, I'm not stripping right now and haven't stood under one of the super strength blacklights like they have at work.

Here's a pic of me using cotton candy pink, it's my main myspace pic right now: http://www.myspace.com/zabrinasspace

One thing you don't have to worry about is that the color washes out just fine. You won't have funky colored tips. If the dye doesn't destroy bleached blonde I really don't think it will damage any other color.

Oh that's pretty! Maybe I'll just do the pieces underneath.

the room has to be pretty much all blacklight for it to really take effect. plus when the dye fades it wont glow as much. I used that stuff on some extension pieces and used them as streaks. more girls than guys noticed they were slightly glowing. but its still hot!!
