I would. I freely admitted to being ripped off and I'm still appreciative of your sharing your knowledge.

My last reply was directed towards CK anyway

And I never said your staff get shitty pay in relation to your industry of stripping/waitressing. I merely said I felt it was shitty for the work actually being done (I think it's hard work in a relatively undesirable environment) and in comparison to what other quality performers in the dance performance industry get. We *are* talking about 1st quartile practitioners in skill and looks, right?

there was a mutual agreement that she accepted on her free will. For the record I don't think $300 for 2 hours is shitty and I'm within my rights to control how she spends those 2 hours. Just like if I pay a band $300 to play at my party or $60 for my massage therapist, I should be able to ask the band to play whatever I want, so long as its reasonable. Nor is it unreasonable to ask my massage therapist to use all or part of that hour massaging my girlfriend who hurt herself.
Just an aside - there are a lot of bands and massage therapists that would disagree with you on that. I dated a massage therapist - he would charge more if the massage was being "divided". He would not just show up and be told "spend 15 minutes on me, 15 on her and then 30 on her." Bands - even more so. I mean - there are a lot of songs. The assumption that the band will play whatever you want - I mean, how can you know that they even KNOW the songs?

And what does "her free will" have to do with it? Just because she accepted the offer doesn't make it a GOOD offer. I mean, paying her more than the price absent private dancing doesn't mean you're paying her what she might expect to receive private dancing, you know? I would be surprised if girls were actually expecting to work for $40 an hour; I would think that they are expecting tips and ld money on top. Not arguing; just saying that your logic is not, strictly speaking, logical.

^^ they have to be expecting tips! Darcy, GCG, seriously, you didn't just take $40 fucking dollars for an hour of stripping outcall, right?

Generally here a dancer is guaranteed at least $100 to show up with the expectation that she won't stick around long without a significant amount of tips.

for $40 p/h you would be doing bikini/lingerie hostessing/waitressing, with a minimum of 2 hours.... and yes - the girls do it and make good money from it.

They get tips from lap dances (generally charging $10 topless, $20 nude both one song and $50 for 3 songs)

The girls also do what we call a jug show at the end of their shift, which means they take a jug around and do a show for the value of.... eg. they get $100 they do straight strip show, they get $200 + they do toys and for the girls who do anal shows $300 +

Okay - so you're not expecting to show up, hang out waiting tables for 2 hours and then leave with $80 - you're expecting to make money doing the dances?

No. I only expect $80 because I'm there to waitress. Mild seems to not notice she's talking about WAITRESSING and the other is talking about STRIPPING in AMERICA.

An American stripper is hired and she does dances for extra money.

A waitress waits tables and MIGHT do dances for extra money or shows for extra money IF available - some places are public and you SURE AS HELL can't do either.

And shows in Australia? Are usually $350 a pop... for HALF AN HOUR. But it's a full on show, with dildos and oils and creams...

So Mild, you're confused to how it works in America and you're comparing Apples to Oranges.
