No, the last time I went it was terrible (just wasn't fun anymore). We now spend our time in the Keys.
I can't get away, but I can guarantee half of Toronto's party scene will be there lol
Have fun and I'd love to hear some reviews when you get back.
I'm looking into renting a condo this year. Rooms are just outta control- nice rooms where the poolside events will be are either booked up or $700+/nt.
I met SO many truly amazing ppl there that I've kept in touch with it's unbelievable. I didn't think I'd be able to afford it this year but it's looking like something I'm going to have to work extra hard for.
That is such an undescribable experience...go, go, go, where do I start and who's party will I end up at after midnight? LOVE IT!!!!!
Actually my signature pic was taken at 10am after PVD @ Space on our balcony at Roney Palace.....fun times!
What are the rest of you doing about accomodations?
i'm going. i will be there thurs-sat. next year i will go the condo route too.i booked early, soon as the dates were announced and i'm still paying 270 a night. my friend sent me a link for condo/cottage rental and i could have stayed the whole week for what i paid for 3 nights
i always have fun and meet lots of people form all over the world, i cant wait!

Ohhhh, I love laying out by Nikki Beach during WMC to hear the afternoon/sunset sessions.
If you like Space, check out Nocturnal, it is down the block and opened this time last year. Same deal as Space. Back in my party heyday, I went to Space like 7 times before I actually remembered what it looked like inside. Oh boy, hehe.
I always get all excited about WMC and then it comes and the traffic/parking is so bad I am just like, fuck this, I'll go out next weekend. I would like to check out Glass at the Forge, I haven't been since they opened. I am such an old lady, I never go out anymore. Oh wait, that's cause I'm working.
How have I lived here for 7 yrs and never heard of this....???
People always ask me, did I ever learn anything when I was a stripper? Yeah, I did. One man plus two beers equals 20 dollars.

Do you go clubbing a lot on SB or downtown MIA?
What kind of music do you listen to?
Do you network on myspce with ppl in the clubscene?
Even if you answered "no" to those questions, I'm surprised you've never heard of it from any of the gals at work.
If you're into any of that kind of stuff, there's going to be some killer poolside parties to listen to great music, get some sun with beautiful ppl, and possibly get waaaaaaaaaaasted.
There are parties literally everywhere that week 24hrs, clubs, lobbies, pools, Versace mansion, Nikki Beach, MYNT, Shore Club, Sagamore, your house, just kidding!

I LOVE house/club music, but to be honest I think i'm over that type of scene. The BIG clubs and obnoxious crowds. I don't know, lately i'm not feeling the idea of being in a club being gropped by drunks and pushed by ppl who topple my drink off of my hand. I feel old for it, and i'm only 25. LOL. It gets old I guess. I've been partying since my late teens. I still enjoy trendy lounges once in a while, and i'll always enjoy a nice restaurant.
I'm trying to get into the mood for it. I don't want to feel like an oldie, grandma and plus I want to hang with my friends( and they're still into that scene and older than me). I need a get away and this is one of my options.
IDK, i'm IFy about it.
Vyanka, it's all where you hang out. You can go to WMC and enjoy the scene without being groped by drunks in the club. At least it never happened to me while I was there and I went by myself, met amazing people, and went to some of the greatest places. As long as you stay away from the degenerate tourist trap clubs you should not have that problem. There's a different class of people in every place, simply dress the part and hang with the elite. I felt like you did until I went. There's good music literally everywhere.small cafes, shops, hotel lobbys, pools, much to choose from beside the obnoxious clubs. If you've never been I reccommend you experience it at least once. I say to stay away from the "concert at Bayside" aka Ultra Music Fest = large crowds, no age restriction, police, dirty ground. You can hear all the same artists at smaller, more intimate venues throughout the week without all he BS.
haha I don't remember too much about inside the club..I was very ummm distracted on top of a speaker in the corner that morning.PVD on the terrace kicked ass though @ 8am with the sun beaming down. I'll have to keep an eye out for the dry ice machines this year, sounds cool. pun intended
Hmmm..ok...if it's club/house, then no wonder. Even if i had heard of it, I wouldnt have paid attention...
