Sorry, CO, I temporarily forgot that I'm just a girl and a stripper so I should probably consult you before saying anything to make sure it is right. Back off - Bridgette at least has some ground in saying that she has more and better experience than I do.

Honestly...I think that some guys go for more "average" girls over the "perfect 10's"(and i agree with whoever said that there is no such thing...EVERYONE has flaws) because they honestly have an idea that the "average" girl may go home with them....or do more in the back...or some such shit. They know that the girl who looks like she just walked off the cover of Playboy is out of their league...but the girl who maybe is a bit overweight, or whatever may think they are the best thing since sliced bread and will be flattered and all a-twitter to be asked out by such a cool guy....

Remember...some guys are idiots(esp in a strip club). If the guy thinks he is say...a 7...he thinks he'll have a better shot at bagging a girl who is a 5, rather than the girl who is a 9.....

Of course it could be the whole intimidation factor, or the less physically attractive girl is more fun..OR....the whole beauty is in the eye thing(the girl You think is a 10...maybe a guy sees as too skinny or too fake looking, or whatever)

My head is kind of all over the place right now(REALLY bad week)...so I hope that made sense.
People always ask me, did I ever learn anything when I was a stripper? Yeah, I did. One man plus two beers equals 20 dollars.

oh, I make sure I at least get a dance or so! "well that settles it, you have to get a dance! After all, how many times do you get offered naked perfection?"

I mean really, who can refuse an offer like that

I recently (in the same club) went from wearing dresses and smoky eye makeup to wearing skimpy unique outfits and brighter makeup, and I've seen a dramatic increase in my stage tips and how much I've been requested for dances or vips. I sell the same % of dances to guys I approach, but the point is that I have to do this less often. I honnestly think it's b/c I look more down to earth and friendly, girl next door, and less like the perfect 10 playby, which I'm really not! but I am thought to be... ..... thank G-d for club lights! I've also noticed more guys asking me "what goes on in vip", "do you have a bf", "will you/date/fuck/give me a bj" type questions. So I think cam is spot on, at least as far as my experiences go!

^^I wish I could....this is EXACTLY why I've been working to convince my club owners that going gown is NOT a good thing!!

Woohoo. I didn't know there were guys like that around. More hot women for guys like me. Well from a physical standpoint anyways. Like it's been said attitude is huge, but if they look like a perfect ten to me, (mind you my perfect ten may be different from other's perfect tens.) and smile at me. More than likely they will end up with a good chunk of my money. My wallet probably has a heart attack everytime I go into a SC and encounter girls that fall in this category. Lol.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and when my friends and I go to a sc, we will disagree on who the hottest girls are and even who we will choose to get lapdances from- what is perfect to one may not be perfect to another.
But if you are a "perfect-10" and I see you, I promise I won't be intimidated by you.

I think what I meant was that being pretty wouldn't stop you from earning to capacity. So an isolated guy might find a girl to be "too pretty" or might have preconceptions about what that means, certainly; but I find it hard to believe that girl underearns because she is too pretty. It is not that I find it hard to believe that individual customers have quirks.

    Okay, are we friends again?

Okay, weird but true. I gained about 10-15 pounds over the holidays, took a couple weeks off for a vacation, and neglected to get my hair re-dyed or nails when I came back. I think I'm actually even dancing a little worse, since I'm breaking in a new set of shoes. I still have the exact same approach, and hustling habits... but I'm actually making more money now than I did before the holidays. And since this is an off month around here, I found this rather surprising.

But, again, it all comes down to individual taste. Some guys like girls who look like they take more time on their appearance (more "up-keep"). Others like those that seem more down-to-earth. I guess I'm just hitting a good mix right now.

this makes me think back to this club i went to once...

I was an observer watching some normal stage shows...

this perfect 10 comes out, who is hella professional. She struts out and does the dance, it is amazing, it is perfect and it is damn flawless...like out of a movie. I clap, I am impressed, i am shocked......I am not turned on.

this chick comes out, about a 7 in real life, looking like an 8 on stage.

She does her dance and you can tell that she is hella angry and nervous about going after the perfect 10, who blew the audience away with this pole climb move. So the chick comes out and laughs, makes some mistakes, and then laughs after them, recovering with some cool little moves. She added some cheeky fun in there, giving us peaks here and there and laughing with us. The show was really fun and I found myself laughing and smiling with my mates.

Soon as she was finished, holy mother of God, everyone wanted a private dance with her, including me. I wanted to talk to her about the show, I wanted to get to know her cause she seemed like she had a sense of humour and personality about her, unlike the ICE QUEEN perfect 10 model who looked like she could probably snap kick you to death with her perfect 10 legs.

Needless to say the waiting line for the 7/8 chick was like 2 hours, I eventually got my dance with her and it was worth the wait.

Okay, why is the perfect 10 always described as the bitch? What if she has a fabulous personality? I know many women who are extremely hot and have amazing personalities.

I think some men automatically assume beautiful women are bitches because in real life they'd be rejected by these women. People and their stereotypes...if pisses me off!!

Not tipping a girl because she's too good looking? I can't buy that. I have to think that the other girl is making better tips because she pays more attention to the customers around the stage or works them a little better.

It bugs me too. I've met many a glamour-puss (by the way everyone, since I got a look over the week end using that expression - I'm using "puss" in a dated, retro kind of way that would refer to FACE) who was crazy and funny and cool, but she gets characterized as dumb, or... not even dumb or bitchy but some guys assume that she's insipid. Bugs me, stereotype bad - however, these girls I'm talking about did not underearn because 3 guys in a night are intimidated and go with me instead. That goes back to "all things to all guys". So it's not a good thing, but it had a very limited impact on either their lives or their earnings.

correct me if i'm wrong guys -

but couldn't it be advantageous to have an A/B girl in a C/D club? As in, they'd be way prettier than the other girls so they'd get more attention?

Yeah I think it could...as long as they adapt to the culture of the club. If the club is really low key and chill, walking in with a gown and extreme sophistication might not work that well.

Some of my uncle's friends, who are avid stripclub goers, have said on occasion that the prettiest girls in a club provide "less mileage" in general.
And reading the reader reviews on the Zbone website would seem to confirm this.

I have always preferred the "average" girls to the ones everybody wants. There is more opportunity for a super good time, lots of great mileage, and OTC with these girls. Many of them don't see dancing as a career, as they are single moms or students just trying to make ends meet. They may be even looking for a man who can support them and their children so they can quit the club and take care of their man. Over the years I have had a number of them as GF / mistress. When one graduates and moves on, then back to the SC to find another one.

I date strippers, especially if they love to model for me.

Star Player, did I meet you in Austin a few weeks ago? Are you the guy who waved me over to your table and offered to send me to college for four years if I would move into your house and take care of you? If so, let me tell you what I was too shy to tell you then: You look really fat in those pants.

My mom has a saying that is so true:

"If one person tells you something you don't want to hear, ignore them. If everyone tells you the same thing, put some stock in it."

I think this falls under the catagory of one guy saying one thing does not make it so.
