    Thumbs up Pan's Labyrinth

I just saw it tonight and it was absolutely wonderful. I was on the edge of my chair for the whole film . It was sort of dark and weird, but not your typical fantasy type film. This one is definitely for grown ups. The movie is in Spanish , so at first, I was a little put off by the subtitles but it is a great story. I am so glad we stayed . It's seriously the best movie I have seen in a long time.... I just wanted to share that! Lately I have felt like there is really nothing out in the theaters and I'm pretty picky but this one is a winner!

I really want to see it! K saw it and liked it, but he said I might not enjoy it because there's a lot of bugs. I'm okay with bugs as long as they don't look too much like cockroaches, but if there are a lot of roaches in it then I don't want to see it. (Bad phobia.) Is it safe for me?

urm... there is one scene where there are some creepy crawlers, but i dunno if i'd call them roach lookalikes. from what i see of you on this board, i'd think it'd be a film you'd appreciate..

    Love it!

I was going to start a thread about this actually - you beat me to it!

My man and I saw it the other day. And I can't get it out of my head. What a beautiful story. And so sad.
