Default Crazy trip traveling the US... I need suggestions please!

Hello all... I know it's been awhile... but I am possibly embarking on a "vacation" across the US, you know see everything I wanna see before I settle down, or become too old to hold this position which enables me.

My question is, what are some good money-making clubs (I will work nude or topless) across the U.S.? I no longer have a gown... so that would be out. I am looking to work Friday and Saturday nights and travel during the weekdays... so if anybody knows of any clubs that are good spots to hit up on my journey... please please let me know!

    P.S.

This means a lot to me... it has been a life-long dream.

I have traveled exclusively for a long time and the first rule of thumb is to be flexible.

Next, you'll want to research clubs IN ADVANCE and find out the hiring requirements and days they hire.

Some clubs work on schedules, and if you get hired you may not be able to work until the following week.

Friday and Saturday are not the best days of the week in many places,Tuesdays through Thursdays are, and you will probably need to make more money than you could on those 2 nights to live and make a profit. If you get hired at a club, you may be better off working there for a week or 2 full time, to get established, that way if you ever want to come back, you are already in.

I would research all the costume stores on the path you are driving, and check them all out. Some have FABULOUS markdowns, and you can get some new gowns and outfits CHEAP! I sell costumes, but sometimes find items on clearance cheaper than I can buy them wholesale. Everyone should have 3-4 gowns.

In other words, I wouldn't suggest just trying to pass through a town to work a few days and move on. Stick around awhile when you find an ok club to work at. You can get weekly rate or extended stay motels, and if you travel with a small microwave, icechest, laptop and a months worth of clothes, you can live almost like being at home while making some new acquaintances, and learning about different parts of the country.

Agreed with Tina. Must be flexible and do your research. Getting a gown would be a good idea, because not having one is too limiting for a trip like this. In fact, it's best to make sure you have a variety of outfits because you'll be working in all kinds of clubs. You can carry 2 of each kind, and that should be plenty. Since you'll be travelling it's not like you'll be there long enough for anyone to notice you wearing the same outfits over and over.

You need to learn to adapt quickly to any club environment. You may not make a fortune working 1 night or 1 week at a new club that's totally out of your norm, but you can make decent money if you're adaptable and work hard.

When I did this, I always carried a Motel6 guidebook in my glovebox, and would look up hotels near to where ever I was driving that day. Motel6 isn't fabulous, but it's cheap enough and clean, and they have locations almost everywhere. Some locations are better than others, obviously. If I happened to be in an area where there was no Motel6, I'd look for a decent-looking roadside place - you never know what you'll get with these but it's a place to sleep.

If you're gonna carry a laptop, you can get a national monthly wireless plan from a few places that will let you connect from most areas. That will come in really handy! You can look for clubs online, reserve hotels for your next stop (online rates are often cheaper too), check SW etc.

Get an atlas. They sell them at Wal-Mart and many truck stops. This will have good maps of all states and major cities in the US (and some of them include Mexico/Canada). Get familiar with it before you start out on the road.

Plan what you'll need to carry with you, and what you'll do with your other belongings. Storage rooms are pretty cheap, usually @ $50 a month for a room big enough to store most people's stuff. MAKE SURE YOU PUT YOUR MONTHLY STORAGE RENTAL ON A GOOD DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD, AND MAKE SURE THE PAYMENT WILL GO THROUGH EACH MONTH! You will lose all your stuff if they can't collect payment.

Also, depending on how long you're going to be on the road, it may be better to just sell or chuck the furniture and store other items with family. Those storage fees will add up over several months or year, to the point it may be more cost effective to sell and buy more later.

Make sure you'll have room for a cooler in your car. Get a cooler with a drain at the bottom so you can drain out the melted ice into the bathtub or shower in your hotel nightly, and you can refill it with ice from the free machine at the hotel. Carry healthy snacks, water and stuff in the cooler.

That's all I can think of for now, kinda short on time.

For club suggestions, it would help if you give us some ideas on where you're planning to go. One thing I always did was write down my hotel address on the club's application form (don't put your room number) and told them I had just moved into town. It's best not to say you're just passing through because some clubs may not like to hire girls only for a night or two.

Oh yeah. This is probably a no brainer but buy bottled water a case at a time at the grocery store, wal-mart etc. It's usually around the $5 mark for a case of 24 bottles - MUCH cheaper and easier than having to stop to buy a bottle on the road.

Another tip is to buy your snacks and stuff for the road at a grocery store while you're stopped in a town, rather than at the truck stops or convenience stores. Save quite a bit of money that way. Always be sure to ask for the store's discount membership card (most have them, and they'll give it to you and let you use it on the spot). Stick those cards you collect on your keyring and use them every time you need to buy stuff. Those small savings will add up.

Thanks for all the suggestions... as for staying I am taking an RV, so it should be like a home away from home... and a tad bit cheaper (mostly because my mechanic comes with me ) I plan to stop occasionally at the aforementioned motel 6 when I get fed up with the confines of the RV.

As for clubs... I have relocated many times (Wilmington, Philly, Detriot, Ypsilanti, Hazleton Wilkes-Barre areas), and I find there are often small laid back clubs in which let new girls work right away or audition most any night (as long as you call early or a day or two in advance). I have always done the best my first nights in smaller clubs because I am slightly more low key in personality and the regulars of the area see me standing out as "fresh meat" immediately.

Of course, most clubs will let you work immediately - you just show up. I've done it loads of times. I think east coast clubs, especially northeast, are the only ones that are really into schedules and making you wait to work.

Cool, because I have a vague idea of my trip plan... but I want to keep it semi-flexible and spontaneous... while I'm young and I still can. Again... awesome amounts of help! I just hope that the Club reviews comes back up before I leave.

Have any of you ever used the ratings on money-making potential found on SCL? I found them to be relatively accurate when comparing past clubs I've worked...

I am just outside of Hazleton... in a small town called Jeddo... it's pretty sweet, just outside the gate to my yard I can get to all these trail heads and just hike for miles... I love the wilderness

I work at the local bar... I've found that I make more up here than I did down in Philly, guys tend to tip larger amounts at once for a lap dance so you don't have to rub your ass raw to get a couple hundred bucks, just overall a more relaxed atmosphere.

I may be a good idea to post here on Club Chat what areas you plan on driving to first (states) and some of the girls here can PM you or post the hiring/booking procedures to the best clubs in the area.

Thanks for the idea Tina, I plan on heading to visit my mom in the Midwest first (she lives in the U.P. of Michigan... but I am most likely staying a night near the Detriot burbs. I will hit Pittsburg along the way for a night or two.

After that... it gets uncertain as of yet, most likely heading to warmer lands on the way to Florida. Eventually I want to see most of California, especially the northern region, the redwoods in particular, the rockies, the Southwest in general... Moab as well. I am all over the board... I will most likely post as I get things planned out more.
