I was at a shoot yesterday and I had to take off my wedding band and diamond ring. I put them in a compartment in my purse that was not far from me the whole shoot. When I got home, my band was still there, but the diamond was gone. I called the studio, and they looked, but cant find it.
I am not a material person. There are very few of my possesions that I would truly care about losing...most THINGS are replaceable. This was one thing I considered irreplacable. It was a 5th anniversary gift from my husband. I'm so upset..I've torn my bag and my car apart over and over.
I just dont see how ONLY that could have fallen out. And the purse was within my sight all day, there was only 4 of us in the studio(2 photogs/owners, me, and the girl I was shooting with)...and I dont see how anyone could have gone through my bag, taken my ring without me seeing it. So I'm loathe to think it was stolen..esp since my other ring, several other pieces of jewlery and cash were all still there.
I'm so unbelievably upset about this. Hubby was actually better about it then I expected....I thought he'd be pissed(and rightly so) that I lost the ring. This is not the first time I've lost and /or broken something important. But he was really sweet and just said that he would get me another one..a better one. But there IS no better one...there will never be THE one he gave me on the balcony of our hotel on our 5th anniversary...THAT ring cant ever be replaced........I keep wanting to cry.....

There is nothing as heartbreaking as losing something that had so much sentimental value. I really hope your ring turns up.
He might have you confused with me. He sent me some bullshit email awhile back about producing short movies for internet and cell phones (which is NOT what I do) and then got bitchy when I didn't respond. He used the same "you could have made us both a lot of money" line. What a wanker.
...Oops! I'm getting slapped with a law suit
).
.
BUT with that said the *little* one has SPECIAL meaning to me - and I would of kept it for you know a toe ring or something
