    Exclamation Aussiepunkshocker!

I tried to send you a PM but your box is full...

It appears as though someone has phished your MySpace password. Some unusual advertisement bulletins have come through from your account. Might want to change the PW!

A way to make sure no one can phish your account is to not click on any links to any websites that look a little suspicious. Always check the URL by just mouse-ing over the link and seeing what appears on your browsers bottom ... and if you think the link is suspect... then do not (no matter how curious you are) click on it.

Plus stay the hell away from trackers and the like and make sure your password is a combination of letters and numbers.

Also, make sure that "login.myspace" is in the url. I keep ending up at fake login pages. If you "log in" on those pages, you're giving the person your username and password.

    I just read this bulletin

Just wanted to let you know a new way to check to see if a hacker has your account info...

On your home page go to edit friends.
Then check to see if any of them say
    "This Profile No Longer Exists"

If there are some there, delete them. It will bring your number of friends down, but if you go and count your actual friends beforehand it will be the accurate number afterwards. Let everyone you talk to on myspace know about this.

Here is another way to make damn sure you login at the right place (web address) ... enter in the URL of your myspace profile and click on "HOME" to login. I do this religiously. I use my all ages profile to get to myspace and then click HOME and login from there.

Thanks - I know I have people in my friends list like this, but I dont have the time to go through all of them to delete. Its the downside of having alot of friends on the list I guess. Even doing comment approval is a pain since Im getting about 4 pages a day worth to approve and about the same amount of friend request ads a day, it really becomes impossible to check them all. God im sick of it! Its a shame there isnt an easy way! If there is someone let me know please!

When you say Vanessa do you mean me?

I just cleared out my friends list as well as changed the password to all my accounts so it should stop now.

I was convinced I didn't have any since nothing was going on with my account... I had 14! And one of them was an active account I didn't recognize and hadn't added. I deleted them.

    Weird!
