    Default Doritos

This is the sad point my life has come to at this moment...

    Doritos...

Has anyone noticed, that if you buy a bag of "Nacho Cheesier®" Doritos® brand Chips....there just isn't that much flavor dust on them? Like hardly any at all...
But there used to be lots.

However if you buy, for example, a bag of "Fiery Habanero®" Doritos® brand Chips...which are much newer, there is like an inch of caked on flavor dust.

When "Salsa Verde®" Doritos® brand Chips came out, they were caked with dust, too, but now when I buy "Salsa Verde®" Doritos® brand Chips theres like none on them.

The Doritos® company....is coming out with new delicious flavors caked with goodness, so that you get addicted to them and buy them all the time, and then...they slowly decrease the flavoring once everyones already buying them to save money.

I'm always having to switch favorite Doritos® brand Chips flavors because of this.

    Marketing Politics....

    That's all.

I hadn't noticed that, because I usually get the Cool Ranch.

I've given up on just about everything Frito-Lay makes except for the baked ones because Mox has brought SO much of it home from work at some point.

It's kind of that way with the Baked KCMs, too. Those are my favorite, and one chip will be packed with BBQ flavor...the next, not so much.

I get a bit freaked out when I get one of the Doritos that has big caked on chunks of the flavor powder crap on it. No sir, I don't like it.

Random fact I learned...well, that Mox learned...did you know that each bag of chips you buy (big or small) gets handled an 5-6 times before it's placed on the rack for customers to purchase?

Now who knows how many times it's touched by some weirdo customer "feeling up" the bag to make sure they get a good one.

My fave is the spicy ones and I've noticed that they should be cheesier. I think in the mid 90's they were running some extra cheesy doritos, but now they're back to crap. I always look for the cheesiest ones in the bag, hubby and Christian eat the rest. If I'm gonna eat something junky like doritos, it better be the cheesiest

Mmmmmmmm, Doritos. I only eat the original Nacho Cheese flavor, but they do seem to have less dust on them. My man and his son eat every flavor under the sun, and the newer flavors get their fingers much dustier.

I'm more concerned that you're using ® and putting "brand" after Doritos.

Since we're talking chips, has anyone been able to find Lays wavy hickory smoked lately??? Either they discontinued them, or Mass doesn't sell them anymore?? Prob best for the waistline anyways

PS- I was thinking the same thing about the trademark symbol. I kept looking down at the keyboard looking for it, lol! After my post, I half expected the cops at my door or something.

I never noticed them getting less cheesy, though I was PISSED when they turned 'cool ranch' into 'cooler ranch'. There is waayyy too much powder on the new ones. I can't eat them anymore
