Default Time for some site-specific honesty

If through chatting with a customer you learn that he is a frequent visitor to stripperweb.com, do you think -

    a. cool
    b. creepy, he spends WAY too much time thinking about strippers and strip clubs to go looking for that stuff on the internet
    c. neither/nothing

Would your answer have been different before you yourself were on this site?

And it's TRUE! Those of us who are not involved in the industry have NO LIFE!

I, for example, live a twisted and narrow existence in a one-room garrett, hunched over an aging computer screen, kicking the vermin away from my feet, dreaming only of my next SC visit!

It doesn't really matter to me whether a customer is on SW or not. What I care about is how he acts in the club--does he buy dances, tip on stage, follow the touching rules, not ask annoying question about my real name, not solicit sex, etc.

I'm going with c. - because it would freak me out that my customer could potentially - and probably would, considering how much I post here - know a WHOLE lot about my life.

It wouldnt worry me at all before I found this place or after. You have to consider that running into people you might know is always a posibility when you're online. Im not in the habit of posting stuff that would bother me if anyone found out, if I was I would have always posted without a photo and under a different name (-:

well, whatever I may think, I'll still act like you're a macho awesome studmuffin. I'm more concerned about certain blueballers than others though. I am afraid of the wandering fingers.

Well, in order to avoid the B/Madmaxine reaction I don't really bring it up. A current favorite lady of mine did figure it out on her own but it doesn't seem to have scared her away....

I've mentioned the site a few times at my club but most of the strippers there who do visit dancer sites go to SCL. I think they enjoy the fighting and drama and aren't looking for a meaningful web experience. Just as well.

In my head I would think option 'b', but unless you are a total ass I'm going to be nice to you. Just don't go into an in depth convo about something I said in Ladies Only, or why I ranted about some other customer, etc. I'm a stripper and it's Stripper Web, dammit. It's my right to vent here.

I was going to mention this site to the fav, then she let slip that she was going to cancel her internet service because of some stuff with her kids. One way I can't blame her but it kinda sucks, no more yahoo chats with her! So I didn't tell her about the site since now she can only get on the internet at school. I also worried about what she might think if I told her. Then I decided that I might just lie and tell her I happened to come across an interesting site that she should check out. If she ever goes back to dancing and gets internet again, I'll definetly tell her about this place. I think she'd like it here and get a lot of positive things out of this site.

If needed Jannisary would fall on his sword and disappear.

In the spirit of brevity I said in one sentence something that came off as too rude.

I made the mistake of being too friendly to some males who post on the Pink Side of this site. In short, I made a very Newbie Mistake.
I stand by my assertion that any man who hangs around a free stripper Internet board trying to "pal" up to women in the industry is suspect.

Does that mean that those of us who make damn sure the site remains free and accessible and reliable for dancers who post here are suspect, too?

Oh, and what if the dancers "pal" up to us?

Sweetheart, you know there are almost no limits for my admiration for you. And I really mean that. But sometimes you get into this mode that, sadly, reminds me of Hamlet: "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."

TOO, you "put your money where your mouth is" in regards to Stripperweb. That does not put you in the group of guys I am talking about. You chose to support the site & not use it for FREE amusement, pudwhacking or harrassing females, as some of our male member-trolls do.

Edit to add: it's OK if I remind you of "Hamlet" because it's a gangsta Shakespeare play where everyone dies at the end. & I'm still hoping for a flight of angels to sing me to my rest.

I would not mind either way.
    It's only happened once.
A guy came in and mentioned he was on stripperweb and said he read a review about my club and I said "great so u came in to meet me and get a dance didn't you" HAHA nice try it didn't work. he just sat and drank all night.

I only initially came here to see if anyone knew anything about the Boob Cruise dilemma (I created a topic about it). I wanted to talk to strippers who used to work the boat to see if I could somehow get this guy back for the crappy afternoon all my mates had.

Then, to be honest, after reading some topics, it was actually an ok time filler.

I don't ever want to pal up with anyone from stripper web, nor would I ever dream of mentioning it to a stripper inside a club. Hell, I've only been to like 5 or 6 clubs in my life and all of them were at a big week like Schoolies on the Gold Coast. I would never just go there by myself or like, on a week night, that's only for losers

In closing, not all guys on here fit the same mould, like with strippers, you should not stereotype us.

You're right, not all guys are in the same mould. Some guys are clearly facinated with the industry, which is why they come lurking here, reading for like hours a day and then posting about how they don't really like strippers that much anyway. In comparison to these losers the guys who actually admit that they come here because they are interested in strippers actually seem pretty cool.

I have never mentioned my particpation in SW to anyone at any point in any SC.

To me, that would really smack of trying to gain a favorable impression from the Dancer, with the ulterior motive of getting "more" (whatever "more" may be) from them then a average customer would/should. Sort of like "I'm an insider.. I know how it is" (which obviously flies in the face of reality).

My opinion is that that is utterly disingenuous. I encounter this while bartending often enough. Whenever anyone makes a point to tell me that they are A) a bartender too or B) used to bartend somewhere - they ALWAYS turn out to be bad tippers/demanding jerkoffs, because they think that being in the industry themselves should automatically afford them more then a regular customer should get.

When I am at a bar, I never tell anyone Im a bartender as well.

I posted on this thread once already, but wanted to bring the thread back to make what I think is an important point. There was a view expressed above that the guys who post on the pink pages must be losers. Some guys got defensive about that, others (like me) just joked about it.

But the serious point I want to make is that this view really is a slap in the face of the dancers, not the guys. It suggests that there is nothing in the discussion on these pages that would be of any interest to guys who have a life. In effect, it perpetuates the worst stereotypes of dancers by suggesting that the only guys who are interested in chatting with them on line are PLs.

The reality, I think, is that this is a very interesting community that offers a lot to completely regular guys. There are some women who post here who are very pulled together, have a strong sense of self and one heck of a lot of experience with human behavior. (I find that I can learn something about myself once in a while by reading hustle hut.) There is a lot of support on these pages among the women, but also for the guys on occasion.

So that's it -- dancers are normal people, in my view, and some of them are doggoned interesting. There is plenty here for happy, well adjusted guys. I just thought that needed to be said.

If a guy told me he was on here, I'd tell him it's a pivate retreat for me, and please keep mum! but other then that, it wouldn't bother me. I'd not mind at all
