    Default goodwill shopping trip

I love going to goodwill to get soft/used jeans. You know, those jeans that have been washed a million times? But the sizing is so weird there! First of all, the pants are divided into small, medium and large, and the girls' pants are mixed in with juniors. Second, there are 11s in the small section and 2s and girls' 14s in the large section, so I usually go through all the jeans looking for that perfect pair. I tried on some jeans that were size 2s thinking they would not fit at all (my usual size is 3-5 juniors due to my "juicy" ass), but they did! Yay! It felt so good to fit into a 2 again. But then I tried on some cute jeans by unionbay that were size 9s just for the hell of it -- and those fit me, too! (In the baggy way that I like.) I got them, but can't believe I could fit into a size 9?? Usually 7s fall right off my ass.

All clothes are different sizes....it makes me crazy! There was a whole thread about this not too long ago. But I have clothes in basically every size available, from S to M to L, 6, 8, 10 and even some 12's! It makes clothes shopping very hard, b/c I constantly have to try things on.....I can't just pull things off the rack like I used to!

I loooooove thrift stores! I find goodwill to be more expensive and not as much selection as lots of other mom n pop thrift stores, though. My mom always took us to thrift stores when we were kids. You have to search through a lot of stuff, but lots of times you'll actually find mall-brand stuff, sometimes with the tags still on!

Oh, and the books! 90% of my library came from the thrift store. Lol, I'm such a dork, all this thrift store talk makes me so excited... Now I need to go shopping!

I love all the sweet retro items you can get at thrift stores... I found this rust-colored Italian leather trench a couples months ago... so awesome. I've encountered the same sizing problem, prob just a difference between girls who wash pants in super hot water n hot dry cycle and those who wash in cold dry gentle. I noticed my pants shrink super fast if I use this one laundromat cause the dryers are so F***ing hot (or maybe the wash water... who knows...)
