    Default Martini!

Does anyone know of a recipe for olive juice?

I have a large jar of green olives just for martini making but i am out of juice and have plenty of olives left over and i know there is a way to make a homemade juice but i forgot the ingredients and cannot contact the person who told me of this wonder juice.

I've been all over google and yahoo searches and i just can't pull up a recipe and i can't just throw out my olives. Thanks for any help!

Wow, I didn't know you could make olive juice... But you CAN just buy the juice seperately (like, at beverages and more).

I'd say just use a mortar & pestle on the olives until they are juiced, or food processor, etc.

You should be able to use some of them to get some good juice.

    You like 'em dirty, huh?

I would just pour some salt and white vinegar in with the olives and let them marinate for a few days. Too bad I can't send you some of ours; my boyfriend has a huge jar of garlic-stuffed olives for his martinis, but he likes them clean so we have gallons of brine sitting around.

I tended bar at a place where dirty martinis were very popular. All we ever did was order extra bottles of just the brine, like Bella mentioned above. I've never heard of a way to get more "juice" out of them. I think vinegar would be too icky, and mashing them would make more of a paste. Let us know what you find out.
