Nicely done...just a question....why are you holding on with 2 hands for the superman?

An one suggestion to you...for your Scorpio, release your arm and position the pole lower on your ribs when you lay back. This will prevent you from dislocting your ribs!

Excellent lean on the Bow and Arrow!! Nice to see someone else love polework!

I think it is amazing and wish I could see you dance!

OMG I so love your boots they had me drooling over here!!!

Can I ask how you managed to do splits like you do in your pic? How can you get so flexable??? I am so stiff in the hips that I can't even manage a partial split without the ouch factor.
Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved."

Awww... thanks guys... (blushes) Sorry I look so... ugh. These were taken right after a 2 hr class and I was just beat!

Alena: 2 hands on the superman because of the camera factor. My friends camera takes a few seconds before you can get the next shot and I felt like I was slipping, and turning blue, so I threw the other hand up there. Thanks for the advice on the Scorpio- I definitely don't want any dislocated ribs.

Siren: Maybe one day I will do a video. I need to improve my floor work cos I feel it isn't evolving like my pole work has. As far as the splits go, practice, practice... I just learned how to do them maybe 1 year ago, and I learned from lowering myself down holding the pole for support. Remember not to bounce when you go down so you don't tear a muscle. It's a gradual progression.

Wow those are awesome pictures. I'm definatley going to use these for inspiration when I practice my polework. And I love your boots also. Oh and just a question alenadowns how do you know if you've dislocated your ribs from the scorpio?

    BalletBaby...

    sharp pain during deep inhalation
    tenderness on placement on pole
inability to raise arm completely straight
inability to reach arm dorectly behind you
...there are a few more, but these are the 1st signs!

I dislocate mine regularly!!! keep in mind you may not even notice it...depending on your tolerance to pain! I danced for 2 yrs with my first dislocation!

I visit a chiropractor once a month for an adjustment. This is usually when we find that there is something out! December was 1 rib, shoulder and hip...all on the left side! Teach me for stunting on my weak side!

Take care of your body, listen to what it is telling you. If you continually have dislocations, they tend to heal out of place.

They hurt way more going in than coming out!!

Wow!! Awesome photos! I'm taking pole dancing classes and am having a blast. After seeing your photo I know how much work I have ahead. Not to mention the FUN!

I love your boots also. I didn't even notice the skull and crossbones bra at first. Where can I get one?

    Thanks for posting the photos.

Oooh, I love them all! But my fave is you lying on your back with that frisky look on your face. Perfect curves, very sexy!

    Nice pole work!!

I have put ribs out of place from pole dancing too and I agree chiropractic is the way to go with that. I couldnt breathe without getting sharp pains ouch!

Yeh I wana know whats in the tank? It looks like a little lizard. I used to keep bearded dragons - I love reptiles.

Heehee... They're baby beardies! My brother just got me one and decided to leave his other two over here as well, hence two tanks on the floor. I will be moving soon, hence the messy messy house. Thank you guys so much for the nice comments. It makes me feel like I am doing something right since I have only been dancing for a bit. I've always been bound and determined to do crazy pole tricks, though. I thank the military for that one... Anyway, as far as the large pics go... I just use photobucket then click the pic icon on the SW message box. Cut and paste the http coding and voila! Hope that helps!

PS: Skull and Crossbones compliments of Snot Topic. Lol.
