GNC lady to the rescue! My wealth of knowledge is yours, uninsured one!

Black Walnut has been shown to destroy Candida better than commonly prescribed antifungal drugs.

Pau D'arco is often recommended for candidiasis. Pau D'arco contains an antibacterial and antifungal agent. This herb works well in tea or tincture form.

Clove works for those when Pau D'arco does not.

Chamomile tincture, (used as a mouth rinse for thrush, daily) can be beneficial.

Garlic is a wonderful natural antibiotic and detoxifier which protects the body against infection by enhancing immune function.

Grapefruit Seed Extract for one week, has been shown to inhibit yeast growth.

OK...Black walnut...at gnc? How to take it? Pills, tea or topical?

Pau D'arco...can be bought loosely to be made into a tea? GNC?

Clove? Hows it taken? A tea I am guessing?

Grapefruit seed extract...a tea as well?

I really appreciate the list of options that doesnt require me paying hundreds of dollars and force fed anti-boitics, which me and my body equally hate. Can all these things be purchased at GNC or a local health food place?

Just a note, it's the friction from rubbing your hands together vigorously that gets rid of the germies, not the soap itself.

See if your throat still hurts or gets better. I'd had strep 2 times as a kid and all the sudden, I get it again only this time it was totally different - I didn't run a fever, I could still eat but it hurt like hell. It felt like a really knarly sore throat.

So, I go to the doctor and of course I say "I'm pretty sure it's not strep". Well, it was. >.< I had white patches all over my mouth, but with anti biotics I was fine in 3 days.

It very well could be a yeast infection of the mouth, but I highly doubt it. It'd just be so hard to catch simply licking your fingers. I mean, it's not impossible but it's kind of like catching someone's wart - the conditions have to be just perfect. (Pretty much everyone has a yeast infection of the mouth - thrush from eating way too many carbs...it's a yeast overgrowth). I would try eating yogurt...

No, soap is good, but it's actually the rubbing of hands + soap that kills germs. Antibacteria soap is a waste of money, IMO. Wet hands, apply soap, smush hands for 30 seconds, rinse.

I'm also an RN, it sounds like strep but if you want to be safe there is this medicine you can get just by asking for it from the pharmicist. Its for candida aka yeast, its called lactinex, get the pill form not granular. Take 4 chewed with milk 4 times a day until bottle is gone. This will clear up ANY yeast in your body. The pills must be refrigerated and they are only like $7 to $10 for a bottle. You will finish the bottle in like two to three days.... Good luck!
