-I agree about the conversation thing. I bartended for a while, so I got good at conversations, but starting conversations is a real skill and I'm a lot better at it now.

-I love having the freedom to go anywhere in the country (and many places in the world) and immediately have a job. Even though I'm in Ohio, I know I'm here by choice...I could go elsewhere.

-I love not having to worry about bills. They are there and I have to pay them, and sometimes I'll have a bad week and start to think about them a little, but I don't have to let things go past due or use my credit cards except for convenience.

-I love feeling good at what I do. It sounds hateful but I love watching girls who have terrible attitudes stare at me while I dance and dance and they sit there pouting. There's nothing wrong with their looks, they just can't put forth a good attitude so no one wants to be around them. Those girls make up for all the bi**hes I dealt with in high school.

-I love feeling like I have a secret. This is probably what CIA agents feel like. When I'm standing in line at the grocery store I'm just thinking "You people don't know that I take my clothes off for money!" Evil grin.

I love my job. The up and the downs, all of it. I'd rather be doing what I do now than anything else, even if I have to worry about someone touching me the wrong way.

I work around 12 hours a week and make 700 or more per week, usually more.

I work when I want and I can chose, if I wish, where I work.

I can ask for more shifts to make more money.

I can take a vacation with no repercussions.

I can be centre of attention. I can be the life of the party.

I was a married housewife forced to not have a job while getting beaten every day.

Stripping SAVED me from my horrible life! I am free now. I live a great, fulfilling life.. my dinners are always nice, even when made from home. I live in a nice area close to the city... I have everything I want.

    What has stripping gotten you?

C'mon girls... LOVE YOUR JOB TODAY!
Well...it allowed me to officially become self-sufficient for the first time in my life. I went from being broke as a joke, maxed-out credit cards, no car, and dropping outta college 4credits shy of graduation because I couldn't pay the tuition for the last 4credits...to having my own place, a few cars, health insurance, breast implants(I'd wanted them forever!!), and obtaining my B.A.

Dancing also allowed me to get OUT OF the dancing industry, too. This is because the breast implants boosted my confidence and gave me a more mature look(as opposed to the 15-yr-old look I was sporting before), which better helped me to obtain service industry non-dancing jobs and eventually, regular office jobs. Working nights provided enough money for living expenses so that I had ample time to volunteer for the political campaign last summer(which helped my resume). From there, I was eventually able to secure a decent full-time day job. If I had been working in, say retail for the past 2yrs instead of strip clubs, my esteem would probably be in the gutter right now, and I wouldn't have been able to afford to volunteer intern while still making my bills. Hells, I don't even know if I woulda been able to pay my bills if I worked around-the-clock in retail!!

So yeah, I'm glad that I stopped dancing and I kinda left the dancing industry not feeling too good about the industry. But overall, I have to admit that it helped me out a lot. I eventually realized that dancing wasn't "me" and that I wasn't the best at hustling, but it's a lot easier to realize such a thing after I made so much money from it so as to secure myself financially! And in the time that I wasn't yet burned out on the industry, I was able to make decent money. So I'm glad for that.
