Default my third night was a total disaster. HELP!

hiya. Basically I worked last night from 7 til 1 and had ONE DANCE the entire time. I still had to pay my comission so actually left 30 pounds worse off than what I came in with, which just doesn't make sense to me at all. I've read loads of hustle hut, I try and be friendly and approachable, but it just seems like my clubs impossible to make money at as a new girl. There were 8 girls on last night on a thursday night in an out of town strip club, and all of the 8 girls are very professional and quite pushy, approaching guys straight away for dances. I'm just posting for general advice, and basically some support so I know I'm not just being a total idiot, has anyone ever felt like this? It's like it's not worth me going to work at all. I had such a good first night too, made 200 pounds which I was really happy with, but now it just seems to have totally dipped.

It si a slow time of the year. What city/state do you dance in anyway? That can have an affect as well. The economy is butt right now.

^^If you read her post, she said she's making POUNDS - as in British pounds. So she's working in UK, obviously. Or maybe Ireland.

Don't give up yet, give it a couple more weeks anyway. If you're still not making money or just not feeling it after 2 weeks, then maybe it's not for you OR maybe you need a different club. Sometimes the problem is just that a certain club isn't right for you.

The main thing you need to understand is that as a new girl you're simply not going to make fantastic money every night, because you haven't learned how to do that yet. Hell even the best and most experienced of us have crappy nights sometimes. Don't get discouraged so quickly, and keep reading Hustle Hut - there's TONS of info here and we've probably answered every question more than once; just keep reading and thinking of how to apply the info to YOUR club

you'll learn more and more, and it does get better.at this point, you don't really seem to know how to control your earnings (hustling and such). but you'll learn. bad days still happen to everyone.

You might do better at another club. I sucked at my first club. I'd be happy to do like one dance a night. I'd get tipped while on stage. But that was it. I didn't fit the club.

The girls and customers would say I needed to work at nicer clubs. They were SO right. I ended up going to one of the recommended clubs (MUCH nicer!) and I made a lot more money.

AROUND ME WERE CASHING IN. sO I SAT BACK AND LEARNED THERE HUSTLE. AND THATS WHEN I LEARNED "A CLOSED MOUTH DOESNT GET FED".

hey doeyes, are you working at SR in heathrow? that was the first club i worked at. to be honest, i have worked at spearmint rhino both at heathrow and tottenham court road, stringfellows and now secrets in hammersmith and you will get the same in every club, really pushy girls. tonight a girl came and sat between me and the customer i was talking to. i just got up and walked away.

i also think it is a lot harder to make money in this job in the UK. In America, girls get tipped while dancing on stage as well as making money from lap dances AND it is the American culture to tip so they get tipped for their time talking to the customers, something we dont get either so we have to work really damn hard for our money. The majority of customers who come into strip clubs in this country also dont really understand how it works and all want something for nothing and most will try and haggle your price and make you work for your money. Its not so easy just to get up and walk away wen you dont really have a better choice of customer and our clubs arent as busy.

I dont know, im feeling pretty bummed right now myself so maybe my viewpoint isnt fair right now, but I have been doing this job on and off for about 1.5yrs in various clubs in London and it seems to be the same everywhere.

sometimes i wish i could hav a seasoned stripper bug me and listen in to my conversations and speak in my ear to teach me how to deal with each one so i can learn to hustle right and make money. i dont have time to spend years learning how to do this, ive wasted enough of my life and i want to get on with it NOW.

ugh, im probably my own worst enemy.

don't give up yet....there are good nights and bad nights in this business and you have to learn to accept that.Yes it's fustrating but you press on and keep hope alive, never give up and when your about to ..don't keep trying .

Your new so in time with skill and with practice and dedication, hard work it will begin to pay off.You learn as you go and get better at it as you become more familiar with it...just like in any job.

I've heard that it is REALLY hard to make money dancing in London. My ex-boyfriend is from London, and he had absolutely no grasp on what strippers or strip clubs were all about. I met him when I worked at Hooters (which is actually nastier and way more embarassing than dancing LOL) like four years ago, then I started dancing again and he lost it and was under the impression that strippers were whores and blah blah blah. We went to a strip club once and I had to teach him about the concept of paying the girls and tipping and all that. So I feel for you guys. I guess you're just going to have to come to Las Vegas and work with me

You can't be expecting to make consistent money on your third night babe, give it some time.
I've been dancing for 4 months now and only now have I started to make consistent money. But if the club is dead then you can't make something out of nothing.
It's hard when the other dancers have a way pushier style than yourself too.

Give it some time and if u still think u are not making enough think about changing clubs.

Also once u have been dancing a while u will get some regulars who are great on an otherwise shit night.
